本刊是由中國(guó)機(jī)械工業(yè)聯(lián)合會(huì)主管、中國(guó)焊接協(xié)會(huì)、中國(guó)機(jī)械工程學(xué)會(huì)焊接學(xué)會(huì)主辦、哈爾濱焊接研究所承辦的焊接科技期刊，屬科技期刊學(xué)術(shù)類(lèi)。主要刊登來(lái)自國(guó)內(nèi)高校、科研院所及大型企業(yè)的有關(guān)最新焊接科研成果及工程應(yīng)用的高水平論文。宣傳報(bào)道中國(guó)焊接科研和生產(chǎn)技術(shù)應(yīng)用方面的最新成果，加強(qiáng)國(guó)際間的學(xué)術(shù)交流和技術(shù)協(xié)作。讀者對(duì)象是國(guó)內(nèi)外從事焊接工作的工作者。
