Over the last twenty years, recent lifestyle changes in China resulting from rapiddevelopment, opening-up to the outside, and integration with the global econo-my, have brought foreign fast food chains like McDonald's and KFC to China'sfast food industry. Chinese customers, including teenagers and young adults,have experienced the initial surprise brought by the never-before-seen western fast food;they've grown accustomed to enjoying the crispy French fries and hamburgers from theforeign fast food chains, and eating at these restaurants has become a part of their every-day life.
