問 date與day兩詞意思比較相近，請問如何區(qū)別？

答 date意為“日期”，指的是具體的某年某月某日；day作可數(shù)名詞，意為“一天；一日”，沒有具體到哪一天。例如：

The date of her birth is February 2nd, 1996. 她的出生日期是1996年2月2日。

We cant go there today. Lets go there another day. 我們今天不能去那里，改天去吧。

問 什么叫序數(shù)詞？基數(shù)詞變序數(shù)詞有什么規(guī)律可循嗎？

答 英語中的數(shù)詞分基數(shù)詞和序數(shù)詞兩大類。基數(shù)詞表示數(shù)目，序數(shù)詞表示次序?；鶖?shù)詞變序數(shù)詞是有規(guī)律可循的。請同學(xué)們牢記以下口訣：

“基”變“序”很容易， 詞尾加上“th”；

“一”“二”“三”無規(guī)律， 理應(yīng)單獨(dú)來記憶；

“八”減“t”、“九”去“e”， “f”來把“ve”替；

“二十”到“九十”， “ty”變成“tie”；

若是遇到“幾十幾”， 只變個(gè)位就可以。

說明：

1. 在基數(shù)詞變?yōu)樾驍?shù)詞時(shí)，多數(shù)是在基數(shù)詞的詞尾加-th。如：four→fourth, seven→

seventh, eleven→eleventh等。

2. one, two, three的序數(shù)詞依次為first, second和third, 必須逐個(gè)記憶。

3. eight的序數(shù)詞加h，即為eighth;nine在變ninth時(shí)應(yīng)去掉e; five和twelve在加th之前要先把ve變?yōu)閒, 即為fifth, twelfth。

4. twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty和ninety這些整十的基數(shù)詞在加th之前應(yīng)先將y變?yōu)閕e。

5. “幾十幾”的基數(shù)詞在變序數(shù)詞時(shí)，只需把個(gè)位數(shù)變?yōu)樾驍?shù)詞即可，而十位數(shù)、百

位數(shù)、千位數(shù)等不變。如：forty-three→forty-third, two hundred and six→two hundred and sixth等。

問 能講講英語中日期的寫法嗎？

答 好的。日期的寫法有多種，我們僅介紹最常見的一種。

1. 表示月、日時(shí)，先寫月再寫日。例如：

◆構(gòu)成：

1. 在多數(shù)情況下，直接在名詞的詞尾加s就可以構(gòu)成名詞所有格。例如：

2. 以-s或-es結(jié)尾的復(fù)數(shù)可數(shù)名詞形式的所有格是在其詞尾只加，不加s。例如：

the students reading room學(xué)生閱覽室

3. 不以-s或-es結(jié)尾的復(fù)數(shù)可數(shù)名詞形式的所有格是在其詞尾加s。例如：

Childrens Day 兒童節(jié)

◆用法：

名詞所有格可作定語修飾名詞，也可作主語、賓語或表語。例如：

This isnt Anns bag. 這不是安的包。

My bike is old, but Bills is new. 我的自行車是舊的，但是比爾的是新的。
