Cinderella was a nice girl. Her mother died when she was very young. Cinderella lived with her stepmother and her two stepsisters. Everyday she had to do a lot of housework.

One day, the King was going to have a birthday party for his son, the Prince. All the girlsmight go to the party.

When her stepmother and sisters had all gone, Cinderella could have a rest then. In fact, Cinderella wanted to go to the ball, too. But she had no good clothes to wear. She was sad.

When she was worried about this, a fairy appeared and said,“Im Fairy Godmother. Dont worry, Cinderella. I can help you. I can give you good clothes.” She took out some cloth and turned them into a hat, a handbag, a pair of beautiful shoes and fine clothes. Cinderella was very happy.

But the party was going to start, it was too late. The fairy turned a pumpkin into a nice horse cart and some mice into drivers.The cart looked very beautiful. Before Cinderella left, the fairy said to her,“You must come back before twelve oclock. If not, the magic only lasts till midnight.”

Cinderella had a wonderful time. She was the most beautiful girl at the ball. The handsome Prince only danced with her.“Who is she?” No one knew her, not even her stepmother and stepsisters recognized her.

The clock started to strike twelve. Cinderella thought of the fairys words. She ran out of the palace hurriedly, one of her pretty glass slippers fell off. The Prince picked up the slipper, said to himself,“Ill marry the girl whose foot fits this.”

The next day, the Prince took the slipper to every house to find the mysterious girl. Both of the sisters wanted to put on the slipper,but their feet were far too big. Then the Prince asked Cinderella to try it, of course, it fitted.

The Prince and Cinderella were soon married and lived happily ever after.

灰姑娘是個好姑娘。她很小的時候,媽媽就死了。灰姑娘跟著繼母和繼母的兩個女兒一起生活,每天都要做許多家務(wù)。

一天,國王要為他兒子——王子舉辦一場生日晚會。所有的姑娘都可以參加。

可是已經(jīng)太遲了,晚會就要開始了。仙女把南瓜變成了一輛好看的馬車,把一些老鼠變成了馬夫?，F(xiàn)在這輛馬車看起來特別漂亮。在灰姑娘離開之前,仙女告訴她:“你一定要在12點之前趕回,否則魔法到午夜就不靈了?！?/p>

灰姑娘開心極了,她是舞會上最美麗的姑娘,英俊的王子只同她一個人跳舞?！八钦l呢?”沒有人認(rèn)識她,就連她的繼母和兩個姐姐也沒認(rèn)出她。

12點的鐘聲敲響了,灰姑娘想起了仙女的話,她慌忙跑出王宮。她的漂亮水晶鞋掉了一只。王子撿起水晶鞋,對自己說:“我要娶能穿上這只水晶鞋的女孩?！?/p>

第二天,王子帶著這只水晶鞋挨家挨戶地尋找那個神秘的姑娘。兩個姐姐都想穿上這只鞋,可她們的腳太大了。然后,王子讓灰姑娘試穿,當(dāng)然,正好合適。

王子和灰姑娘很快就結(jié)婚了,從此他們一直過著幸福的生活。
