As the World Expo’s opening date, May 1, approaches, Shanghai is becoming more colorful. A total of 242 countries and international organizations have con fi rmed their participation. Preparations are now progressing smoothly. Pavilions, auxiliary facilities, transportation and landscaping work are almost complete.
