傘的發(fā)明故事

It’s said that the umbrella was invented by Ancient Chinese.據(jù)說雨傘是我國古人發(fā)明的。

Allegedly,in the Spring and Autumn period,the famous craftsman Luban often worked in field.據(jù)說，在春秋末年，我國古代的著名工匠魯班常在野外工作。

One day,Luban was walking on the road.Suddenly,the clouds gathered and it poured down.一天，魯班正在路上走著。突然，天空烏云密布，下起了傾盆大雨。

He ran to the pavilion nearby.It rained and rained.He was so anxious in the pavilion,wondering:What can I do?他趕緊跑到旁邊的一個亭子里躲雨。雨鋪天蓋地下個不停。他在亭子里十分著急，心想：這可怎么辦?。?/p>

He wandered in the pavilion and suddenly it occurred to him that if he could lift the pavilion,he would never be afraid of the rain.That would be wonderful!他在亭子里走來走去，突然有了一個好主意：要是能把亭子舉著走，就再也不怕下雨了。那該多好?。?/p>

After he came back home,he had the bamboo chopped into branches and then covered them with animal’s skin,looking like“pavilion”,and it could be put into a stick.A movable pavilion was invented—the first umbrella in the world!他回家仔細研究，把竹子劈成細條，在細條上蒙上獸皮，樣子很像“亭子”，而且收攏就成了棒狀。移動的亭子就這樣發(fā)明了——世界上第一把雨傘。
