當(dāng)你約會時，不必放沖天煙火或彩色花炮。（Roman candle 指能噴發(fā)彩色火花的煙火筒；Skyrocket 也是指 Firework；也就是不要開始慶祝，因?yàn)槟悴恢缹頃鯓樱?/p>

For a woman to be solo is not a tragedy， if she can't find the right person.

對女人來說，如果她找不到理想對象，單身未必是不幸。（solo=single）

He sees no reason to rush to the altar until both are self-supporting.

除非兩人都能自立自足，他看不出有急著結(jié)婚的理由。（altar是教堂內(nèi)的圣壇；意指結(jié)婚）

His attitude of entitlement should give her serious thoughts about ever marrying him.

他那種“應(yīng)得權(quán)利”的態(tài)度，應(yīng)該讓她認(rèn)真考慮是否與他結(jié)婚。（entitlement 指應(yīng)得的權(quán)利；也就是he can do everything）

Marriage should be based on true love， not love of money.

婚姻應(yīng)該基于真愛，而非愛錢。

Some young people are not yet emotionally or financially ready for a life-long marriage commitment.

有些青年人對一生婚姻的承諾，在感情或經(jīng)濟(jì)上還未準(zhǔn)備就緒。

She wants to make sure he is the person with whom she can spend the rest of her life.

她要確定他是否是她這輩子共同生活的對象。

Her elitist attitude is what is causing her to be single.

她高人一等的優(yōu)越態(tài)度，是她成為單身的原因。（elitist=better than others）
