我沒(méi)在聽(tīng)
Mother asked her little daughter who was reading a book,“What are you reading, dear?”
“I don't know.” the little girl answered.
“You don't know? But you were reading aloud, so you must know.”
“I was reading aloud, mummy, but I wasn't listening.” explained the child.
母親問(wèn)正在看書(shū)的小女兒:“你在讀什么書(shū),親愛(ài)的?”
“不知道。”小女孩回答道。
“你不知道?但是剛剛你在大聲朗讀,你肯定知道呀?!?/p>

我需要你的足球
George knocked at the door of his friend Albert's house. When Albert's mother answered the door he asked, “Can Albert come out to play?”
“No,” said the mother, “it's too cold.”
“Well, then,” said George, “can his football come out to play?”
