Is that credible?” I asked myself.Mary was not that kind of girl.She was a quite ordinary one.I had never seen her put on make-up or wearing attractive clothes, moreover, she always wore her big blackframe glasses, for she did not know how to dress up indeed.What a terrible thing, especially for a plain girl!

“I should go to, I must go to.That’s a miracle!” I thought.

“嗨！約翰?！爆旣愊蛭遗軄?，臉上帶著罕見的笑容，對我說：“今晚我有一場舞蹈表演，希望你能來。這是門票?？蓜e忘了啊！”說完她就匆忙離開了，很快消失在人群中。

“什么？！什么表演？舞蹈？這可信嗎？”我問我自己?，旣惒皇悄欠N女孩。她是一個很普通的女生。我從未見過她化妝或者穿漂亮的衣服，而且她總是戴著那副大大的黑框眼鏡，因為她真的不知道該怎么打扮自己。這真是一件糟糕的事情，尤其是對于一個相貌平平的女生來說！

“我應(yīng)該去，我必須去。這是一個奇跡！”我想。

I arrived at the hall with the ticket, and found my seat.Her performance was the seventh one.I knew I would2)suffer froma hard time before her turn, for I had no sense of art, but her performance was worthy of watching, no matter how long I would wait for it.

Time went slowly, I struggled with myself not to fall asleep.

“Let’s welcome the next exciting dance—Latin!”Applause flled the hall at once.

I opened my eyes as large as possible, fearing to lose anything.Wearing a golden and shining skirt, Mary appeared on the3)gloriousstage.Her dress went well with the brilliant lights.Such a scene seemed to be a4)mermaidenshowing up under the5)glitteringsunshine, meanwhile, I could feel all the audience in the hall focus their eyes on her and it was also hard for me to remove my sights from her.She was so beautiful: her6)staturewas slim; her long golden hair lay back in curls over her7)delicateears.Dancing with a charming smile, she was fully absorbed in the Latin music.At this moment, she looked like a pretty butterfly flying on the8)splendidstage…I could hardly believe my eyes.

After the performance ended, I waited for her at the gate.

“Hi!” She stood in front of me with a bag and her crystal high-heeled shoes in her hands, and dressed as she used to be, but the make-up could still be seen.

“How do you feel?” There was even the slightest tired expression appeared on her face.

“Fantastic!” I answered.

“Haha.I knew it would be.” She could not9)concealher excitement, laughing like a child.

“May I lend a hand?”

“Thank you!” She handed her crystal shoes to me which were shining in the wonderful starry night; in the mean time, I realized that every girl has a pair of special shoes which are like the crystal shoes of Cinderella.

我拿著票走進演出大廳，找到我的位子坐下來。她的表演排在第七位。我知道在輪到她之前，我得忍受一段艱辛的時光，因為我完全沒有藝術(shù)細胞。但無論等多久，她的表演都值得一看。

時間過得很慢，我努力不讓自己睡著。

我盡量瞪大雙眼，生怕漏掉什么。瑪麗穿著一條閃閃發(fā)光的金色裙子出現(xiàn)在耀眼的舞臺上。她的裙子與明亮的燈光交相輝映。這樣的場景就像是美人魚出現(xiàn)在燦爛的陽光下一樣美麗。與此同時，我能感覺到全場觀眾的目光都聚集在她身上，而我也難以將視線從她身上移開。她是如此美麗：她的身材很苗條，長長的金發(fā)卷曲在她小巧的耳朵后面。她帶著迷人的笑容舞動起來，完全沉醉在拉丁音樂中。在這一刻，她看起來就像是一只美麗的蝴蝶在這個華麗的舞臺上翩翩起舞……我簡直不敢相信自己的眼睛。

表演結(jié)束后，我在門口等她。
