I Want to Be a Teacher

“You want to be a teacher？ Dont be silly. Teachers are poorly paid and they have no power.” My friend was puzzling① when I told her I wanted to be a teacher in the future. Im not silly and Ill tell you my reasons.

Im determined to be a teacher because I have admired teachers very much since I was a little child. They are kind and respectable， like angels. They are learned， helpful and encouraging. Im determined to be a teacher because teachers can lead us for② success. Im determined to be a teacher because I can keep young and I can learn， change and grow up with my students. Im determined to be a teacher because I like the style of teachers—simple but free. The vacations will offer me an opportunity for writing， doing research work and anything I like.

Ill try my best to be an ideal teacher. Firstly， Ill study hardly③ to increase my knowledge and learn teaching skills. Secondly， Ill love my students and take proud④ in my profession. Thirdly， Ill trust in them， respect them and understand them.

I believe that teaching is the most honorable job in the world. Ill take it as my lifelong career. I will never regret my decision. I think my wish will come true. Do you think so？

1. 優(yōu)點(diǎn)：

本文以反意設(shè)問(wèn)句開(kāi)頭，突出了主題。本文層次清晰，語(yǔ)言得當(dāng)，銜接緊湊，說(shuō)服力強(qiáng)，是一篇值得推薦的學(xué)生習(xí)作。

2. 需要修改的地方：

① puzzling改為puzzled。修飾人時(shí)用puzzled，表示“感到疑惑的”；

② for改為to。lead to，固定搭配，表示“引起；導(dǎo)致；通向”；

③ hardly改為hard。hard意為“努力地”，hardly意為“幾乎不”；

④ proud改為pride。take pride in等同于be proud of，意為“以……自豪”。

3. 評(píng)分：

按中考英語(yǔ)作文滿分15分的評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，本文修改前可得13分。
