My name is Li Lei.As a Grade 9 student，I watch TV for half an hour every day.

My favourite TV programme is.It is on from 6 p.m.to 7 p.m.every day.The show has the latest information about different sports，such as swimming，basketball and football. Some games are covered live in the programme.There are also a number of interviews with sports stars.Every Friday，there is a weekly round-up of what is happening in sports.

I learn a lot about different sports from the programme.Moreover，I am always encouraged by the players.They practise hard and never give up.

My mother gave me only twenty yuan this Monday morning.She said it was enough for my pocket money.I was not happy with it.“Can you please give me more？I need sixty yuan，because I want to buy a pair of new running shoes.”I told her that we would have a school sports meeting the next week.

“School sports meeting？I don’t believe it.Last week，you said you needed sixty yuan for an English dictionary book.But you bought chocolates！You have so many bad teeth now，don’t you？”My mother gave me a dirty look1.

I know I like eating sweets and I often have a toothache.But this time，I really need a pair of new shoes for the school sports meeting.

“No，I can’t give you more money except your P.E.teacher calls me，”mother said.I sat on a chair nearby silently，without saying any words.Suddenly，mother cried，“Oh，my God！One of my glasses’legs is broken！”O(jiān)n hearing this，I stood up and had a look at her glasses.

“Mom，I can repair it well，”I said to her.

“Really？How can you？”she asked me unbelievably.

I looked for a screw driver2，and screwed and made the jointing3fixed.“Now，you should give me sixty yuan，”I said proudly.

“No，your tiny work isn’t worthy of so much. Well，I think I must ring up your P.E.teacher now.”With these words，mother phoned Mr.Zhang.Mother pressed the hand-free button，so I could hear what they were talking about.

“Yes，we’re going to have a sports meeting next week，”Mr.Zhang said.

Although I got the money for shoes at last，I said to myself I wouldn’t tell lies any longer.

我再也不撒謊了

星期一的早晨，媽媽只給了我二十元錢。她說，這錢夠我零花了。我不樂意?！澳隳芏嘟o我些嗎？我需要六十塊，我想買雙新跑鞋。”我告訴媽媽下周我們要舉辦校運動會。

“校運動會？我不信。上一周，你說要六十元買英語詞典，結(jié)果你買了巧克力！你牙齒壞光了，不是嗎？”媽媽給了我一個白眼。

我知道我喜歡吃甜的，還經(jīng)常牙疼。但是，這次我真的需要一雙新鞋子，用于學(xué)校運動會。

“不，我不能再給錢你了，除非你的體育老師給我打電話?！眿寢屨f。我坐在旁邊的椅子上，氣得不吭聲。突然，媽媽喊道：“噢，天啦！我的一個眼鏡腿壞啦！”我一聽，趕緊站了起來，瞧了瞧她的眼鏡。

“老媽，我能修好它?！蔽覍寢屨f。

“真的嗎？你怎么修好它？”她不相信地問我。

我去尋找螺絲起子，把鉸鏈的接口起牢了?！艾F(xiàn)在，你該給我六十塊了?！蔽易院赖卣f道。

“不行，你這點小活值不了那么多錢。這樣吧，我想我還是給你體育老師打個電話。”話音剛落，媽媽撥通了張老師。媽媽按的是免提鍵，這樣我就能聽得到他們在說什么。

“對呀，我們計劃下周開運動會。”張老師說。

雖然最后我拿到了買鞋子的錢，不過我暗自對自己說以后再也不撒謊了。
