Step1.Pre-reading（10分鐘）

1.Get the presents.（3分鐘）

T:I’m Amy.I’m your new English teacher.Ihavesome presents for you.Do you want the presents?

S:Yes.

T:OK.I put the presents in different places of the classroom.In the game,you have to listen to me.Here are some sentences you need to know.(PPT)

Go along./Turn left./Turn right.

S:Go along./Turn left./Turn right.

T:Good.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：上課伊始，先讓學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)三個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單的指路口令，然后跟著教師或同學(xué)的指引，找到放置在教室中不同位置的禮物。這個(gè)游戲不僅活躍了課堂氣氛，也讓學(xué)生在游戲中不知不覺學(xué)習(xí)并運(yùn)用了部分指路的功能句，大大提高教學(xué)的有效性。

2.Guessing game.（4分鐘）

T:You are very smart.Let’s play a guessing game.Here are some riddles.

（1）We can watch films in it.

（2）There are many doctors and nurses in it.

（3）There are many books.We can borrow（借）the books.But we can’t buy them.

（4）There are many books.We can buy the books,but we can’t borrow them.

（5）You can take the metro（地鐵的圖片）.

What places are they?You can read and discuss in two.

S:They are cinema/hospital/library/bookshop/metro station.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：繼續(xù)運(yùn)用學(xué)生喜聞樂見的猜的形式，讓他們通過讀謎面和同桌討論的方式猜PPT中出示的五條關(guān)于地點(diǎn)的謎語，并學(xué)習(xí)這五個(gè)有關(guān)地點(diǎn)的單詞，為下面的學(xué)習(xí)埋下伏筆。

T:You are really good at guessing.This time guess what I am drawing?

S:Streets.

T:Yes,this is Moon Street.This is Sun Street.（教學(xué)街道英文名稱）

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：學(xué)生根據(jù)教師在黑板上逐步呈現(xiàn)的簡(jiǎn)筆畫猜測(cè)，并學(xué)習(xí)街道的英文名稱。

3.Quick respond.（2分鐘）

T:Theremustbemany places.I have some pictures of them.Please look at them and say the words quickly.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：學(xué)生根據(jù)教師出示的地點(diǎn)圖標(biāo)，快速說出相關(guān)的單詞；教師把圖標(biāo)貼在黑板上，豐富黑板上的地圖，同時(shí)指導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)Park Station和City Library Station。這樣做一方面及時(shí)幫助學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)地點(diǎn)名稱的英文單詞，為課文的學(xué)習(xí)作準(zhǔn)備；另一方面，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生認(rèn)知地點(diǎn)標(biāo)識(shí)的能力，訓(xùn)練其抽象思維。

4.Bringoutthetitle.（1分鐘）

T:Look,this is Yang Ling’s house.

Today Yang Ling wants to go to Su Hai’s house.Where is Su Hai’shouse?We don’t know.So Yang Ling is asking the way.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：教師接著上個(gè)活動(dòng),由城市中的地點(diǎn)引出Yang Ling和Su Hai的頭像以及她們的家，給出了Yang Ling想要去Su Hai家的情境，并揭題Asking the way。但是 Su Hai新家的圖標(biāo)放在旁邊，沒有貼在黑板地圖上，Yang Ling想要去她家必須問路，自然過渡到本課主題上。

Step 2.While-reading（23分鐘）

1.Talk about how to ask the way.(1分鐘)

T:Yang Ling wants to visit Su Hai’s house,how can she ask?You can discuss with your partners.

S1:WhereisSu Hai’s house?

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：本環(huán)節(jié)用真實(shí)情境：Yang Ling要去Su Hai家，怎么用英語問路呢？先讓學(xué)生猜測(cè)，訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的發(fā)散思維，再通過聽錄音得出問路的功能句：How do I get to...

2.Watch and order.（3分鐘）

T:How does Yang Ling get to Su Hai’s new home?

Let’s watch the cartoon and order the pictures.

S:(觀看動(dòng)畫，并將圖片排序)D-B-A-C.

T:Yes.And we can say first “take the metro”,then,“walk”.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：教師設(shè)置“How does Yang Ling get to Su Hai’s new home?”的問題，讓學(xué)生帶著問題看課文前半部分動(dòng)畫，之后幫助學(xué)生按順序排列有關(guān)指路的圖畫(P26圖)。引導(dǎo)學(xué)生觀察圖片得出Yang Ling先是take the metro,然后walk to Su Hai的新家。這里觀看前半部分動(dòng)畫是因?yàn)榍鞍氩糠忠呀?jīng)是問路的全部過程，符合真實(shí)的生活情況。至于后來的出了地鐵站找不到書店，再詢問警察則是一種突發(fā)情況。

3.Read and find.（7分鐘）

T:Boysand girls,let’s read the text on Page 26,and underline some sentences about the pictures.The sentences can show us the way.

（學(xué)生自己閱讀前半部分文本，畫出與上一環(huán)節(jié)排序圖片相符的句子并標(biāo)上序號(hào)。）

S1:Get on the metro at Park Station.

S2:Get off at City Library Station.

S3:Walk to Moon Street.

S4:There is bookshop on the street.My home is next to it.

T:Now,let’s read after the tape.Pay more attention to the words with the signs.

S:（聽錄音跟讀對(duì)話，小組起立操練，順利完成對(duì)話操練的小組就可以坐下。）

T:Next,let’sgo to Su Hai’s house together.You can use“first,next,then”.

S:（學(xué)生和教師一起用“first,next,then”有序地說出指路的句子，并和教師一起在黑板上按照句子的指示實(shí)際走一回，走到Moon Street后發(fā)現(xiàn)找不到bookshop在哪里。）

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：本環(huán)節(jié)突出向?qū)W生說明了指路的順序，幫助學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)如何有條理地講述所發(fā)生的事。教師通過用肢體語言和英語解釋新詞組的方式，以及帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生用黑板上的地圖進(jìn)行實(shí)情演示，旨在反復(fù)讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行英語思維。同桌站著操練對(duì)話，結(jié)束后坐下，幫助教師有效調(diào)控學(xué)生的完成情況。

4.Read and answer.（2分鐘）

T:WhereisYangLing now?

S:She is on the Sun Street.

T:Can Yang Ling find the book shop?And if she can’t find the bookshop,what can she do?You can read the short passage on Page 27,and find the answers.

S:She can’t find the book shop.She can ask the policeman.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：本環(huán)節(jié)承上啟下，教師利用上一環(huán)節(jié)在黑板地圖中的演示，提出“Where is Yang Ling now?”“Can Yang Ling find the bookshop?”和“If shecan’tfind the bookshop,what can she do?”三個(gè)問題讓學(xué)生自讀旁白解決問題,使學(xué)生明白為什么會(huì)有突發(fā)情況的產(chǎn)生，也使課文更加順暢。同時(shí)引導(dǎo)落實(shí)本課情感目標(biāo)：遇到問題要勇敢地想辦法解決，如問警察等。

5.Listen,draw and discuss.（8分鐘）

T:How can Yang Ling ask the policeman?Let’s listen.

S:Excuse me,how do I get to the bookshop on Moon Street?

T:Yes.Adding“Excuse me”before you asking others is a polite behavior.

T:Next,please listen and draw in groups.

（四人小組合作要求：1.聽第一遍，討論路線；2.聽第二遍，選定一人畫出路線圖，并用方框圈出書店的位置。）

T:Let’s check.(在黑板上和學(xué)生一起根據(jù)警察的話找到Su Hai的家，并教學(xué)新詞traffic lights，帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)說指路的句型。)

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：后半部分文本的學(xué)習(xí)主要是聽。先聽Yang Ling的問句，學(xué)習(xí)問路前要加“Excuse me”更有禮貌。然后聽警察指路的錄音，小組合作在練習(xí)紙上畫出線路圖，并標(biāo)注出書店的位置，跟讀。同桌合作操練句型后，學(xué)習(xí)不看文本說出指路的句型。多種學(xué)習(xí)方式的轉(zhuǎn)換，可以多維度培養(yǎng)學(xué)生英語聽說讀的能力。

6.Reading time.（2分鐘）

T:Let’s hold on your English books,and read the whole text after the tape.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：沒有足夠的語言輸入就沒有足夠的語言輸出。所以，在課文學(xué)完后進(jìn)行整體輸入對(duì)于小學(xué)生來說格外重要。

Step3.Post-reading（6 分鐘）

T:This time,let’s finish the exercise on your book.

S:（學(xué)生完成書上的匹配練習(xí)。）

T:After matching the picture with sentences,we all know FIRST Yang Ling takes the metro;NEXT...This is how Yang Ling gets to Su Hai’s house.

（教師帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生用時(shí)間詞組合練習(xí)中的句子，對(duì)本課進(jìn)行概述。）

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：本環(huán)節(jié)相對(duì)簡(jiǎn)單，為下個(gè)復(fù)述環(huán)節(jié)作準(zhǔn)備。

2.Look and say（3 分鐘）

T:This time,can you look at the map on the blackboard and tell us how to get to Su Hai’s house?

S：（學(xué)生根據(jù)板書一個(gè)人用手指，一個(gè)人說，復(fù)述課文。）

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：本環(huán)節(jié)是對(duì)本節(jié)課目標(biāo)達(dá)成度的一個(gè)檢驗(yàn)活動(dòng)。

Step 4.Homework（1分鐘）

1.Read the text after the tape 3 times.

2.Make a new dialogue.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：由于本課生詞和新授句型較多，課內(nèi)時(shí)間緊張，所以將拓展活動(dòng)安排在家庭作業(yè)中。教師在最后出示zoo,給出了一個(gè)Yang Ling和Su Hai要去動(dòng)物園的情境，請(qǐng)學(xué)生用當(dāng)天所學(xué)的新句型編一個(gè)新對(duì)話，實(shí)現(xiàn)用英語的語用交際目的。（如果時(shí)間來得及，可以帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生做一個(gè)Summary復(fù)習(xí)本節(jié)課所學(xué)的內(nèi)容。）
