Weve Got Trouble with the Car

A wife said to her husband， “Weve got trouble with the car； it has water in the carburetor1.” The husband said， “Water in the carburstor？ Thats ridiculous2！” The wife said， “I tell you， the car has water in the carburstor.” The husband said， “But you dont even know what a carburstor is. Wheres the car？” And the wife replied， “In the swimming pool！”

有位太太對先生說：“我們的車子出問題了！化油器進(jìn)水了?！毕壬f：“化油器進(jìn)水？真是荒謬！”太太說：“我告訴你，車子的化油器進(jìn)水了！”先生說：“可是你連化油器是什么都搞不清楚??？車子在哪兒？”太太回答：“在游泳池里！”

No Problem

A bald3 man took a seat in a beauty shop. “How can I help you？” asked the stylist. “I went for a hair transplant4，” the man said， “but I couldnt stand the pain. If you can make my hair look like yours without causing me any discomfort5， Ill pay you $5，000.”

“No problem，” said the stylist， and he quickly shaved his head.

Five Hundred Times

In a traffic court， a young lady was brought before the judge to answer a ticket given her for driving through a red light. She explained to the judge that she was a school teacher and asked the judge to deal with her case in order that she might hurry to have her classes. The judge took a look at her. “You are a school teacher， eh？” said the judge， “Madam， I shall realize my lifelong ambition6. Sit down at that table and write ‘I went through a red light five hundred times.”

在交通法庭上，一位年輕女士被帶到法官面前，她由于開車闖紅燈被開了罰單。女士向法官解釋，她是一名學(xué)校老師，請求法官馬上處理她的案子，以便可以趕回去上課。法官看了她一眼，說道：“你是學(xué)校的老師，對嗎？女士，我馬上就能實現(xiàn)我畢生的愿望了。在那張桌子旁坐下，寫‘我開車闖了紅燈500遍?！?/p>
