Professor Gail is very forgetful（健忘的）. One Sundy morning， it's raining hard. Professor Gail goes to the railway station（火車站） to meet his mother. Before he leaves， his wife gives him a list of things（物品清單） for him to buy on the way（順道）.

His wife doesn't wait a long time before Professor Gail comes back home with a box of food and other things. His wife asks， "Where is your mother？ Did she miss（錯(cuò)過） the train？"

"Oh！" he said， " She isn't on the list（在清單上）."
