      摘 要:該研究旨在揭示光合膜色素蛋白復(fù)合體——光系統(tǒng)I捕光天線及核心復(fù)合體、細胞色素b6f復(fù)合物的結(jié)構(gòu)與功能。通過多種光譜學(xué)技術(shù)研究光能的吸收傳遞和轉(zhuǎn)化的量子機理,并通過獲得膜蛋白晶體,在近原子或原子水平分辨率解析膜蛋白的空間結(jié)構(gòu),揭示光合作用的物質(zhì)基礎(chǔ),更深刻地理解光合作用機理。該報告還將研究參與光合膜組裝、光能轉(zhuǎn)換和利用及功能調(diào)控有關(guān)的重要基因以及相應(yīng)的蛋白的結(jié)構(gòu)與功能,揭示光合作用中光抑制和光氧化調(diào)控的分子機理,為提高光能利用效率提供理論依據(jù)。

      Abstract: The major goal of this project is to characterize the structure and function of the pigment-protein complexes from the photosynthetic membrane, including the light-harvesting complex I, the PSI core complex and the cytochrome b6f complex. A combination of multiple spectroscopies are used to study the quantum mechanism for the capture, transfer and conversion of light energy by the photosynthetic apparatus. To further understand the mechanism and to elucidate the physical basis of photosynthesis at the atomic or near-atomic level, high quality membrane protein crystals are expected for structure determination. The genes that are involved in the assembly of photosynthetic membrane, in the transfer and conversion mechanism of light energy, and in the regulation of photosynthesis function, are also investigated to reveal the molecular mechanisms of photoinhibition of the reaction center and photo-oxidation regulation. The study is to provide a theoretical basis for improving the light energy conversion efficiency.
