Waiter and Customer

A customer ordered a cup of coffee in a restaurant. He found a fly in the coffee，so he called the waiter.

Customer: How do I drink this coffee！

Waiter: Don’t you know how to drink coffee？

Customer: Waiter， see， there is a fly in my coffee.

Waiter: Oh， yes sir. You are right！ There is a fly in your coffee.

Customer: Waiter， I said， there is a fly in MMMY coffee！ （He

stresses［強調］the word “my”）

Waiter: Oh， don’t worry sir. The fly won’t drink much！

Customer: Waiter， it is swimming in my coffee.

Waiter: Sir， do you want me to get a lifeguard［救生員］for the fly？

Customer: The fly is dead now. It’s irritating［氣人的］！

Waiter: I guess， it doesn’t know how to swim properly.

Customer: How do I drink this coffee？

Waiter: Don’t you know how to drink？ I’ll show you！ （Drinks the coffee） This is how you should drink coffee！

Station Master and Passenger

A lady was running to catch a train to Bangalore［印度班加羅爾市］. She was searching for the train.

Lady: Sir， is this my train？

Station Master［火車站站長］: No， Madam. This is not your train. It’s railways department’s train. Lady: （Annoyed） That’s a good joke. Don’t act too smart. What I meant was， can I take this train to Bangalore？

Station Master: No， ma’am， you cannot！ This train is so BIG and you can’t take it.

Lady: It’s really funny！ Now tell me， will this train take me to Bangalore？

Station Master: No， ma’am. This train can’t take you. The train driver will drive it to Bangalore！

Husband and Wife

Jennifer was taking a nap in the afternoon on New Year’s Eve. When she woke up， she said to her husband George， “Honey， I dreamt that you had gifted［贈送］me a diamond［鉆石］ring as a New Year present. What does it mean？”

George simply smiled and answered， “Just wait， dear， you will come to know tonight.”

At midnight， when the New Year was coming， George gave her a small package［包裹］. Jennifer excitedly opened the package and she found a book named The Meaning of Dreams！
