Born in Zibo City， Shandong Province in 1963， Wang Benjie graduated from Shandong Light Industry and Art School in 1986， participated in the landscape paintings workshop of China Artists Association in 2000， and studied in the postgraduate class of Chinese National Academy of Arts in 2003 successively. Now he is a member of China Artists Association， Vice-President of Beijing Ink and Color Academy of Painting， Academician of Chinese Ink Painting Research Institute and visiting professor of Guangxi Normal University etc. He has held many solo exhibitions at home and abroad and won grand prizes. Many of his artworks have been collected by famous organizations and individuals.

王本杰，1963年生于山東淄博，1986年畢業(yè)于山東輕工美術學校，2000年結業(yè)于中國美協(xié)山水畫高研班， 2003年就讀于中國藝術研究院研究生班?，F(xiàn)為中國美術家協(xié)會會員、中國工藝美術家協(xié)會會員、北京墨彩畫院副院長、民革中央畫院畫家、文化部全國青聯(lián)委員、山東翰林畫院院長、中國水墨研究院院士、文化部中國畫創(chuàng)作中心畫家、中華書畫名人網藝術顧問、廣西師范大學客座教授。

2016年11月1日在烏克蘭首都基輔庫奇馬總統(tǒng)基金會舉辦個人畫展，作品《源遠流長》被烏克蘭前總統(tǒng)庫奇馬先生收藏。

2013年10月參加美國紐約第32屆國際藝術博覽會。

2012年參加紀念辛亥革命100周年海峽兩岸中國畫名家邀請展（臺南大學）。
