70多年前，常德會(huì)戰(zhàn)中，他的戰(zhàn)友幾乎全部犧牲。如今他飛越千里，去完成一生的承諾——代表戰(zhàn)友們守望他們沒(méi)能見(jiàn)到的和平……2017年4月，由南航出品、金馬獎(jiǎng)導(dǎo)演張榮吉執(zhí)導(dǎo)，根據(jù)抗戰(zhàn)老兵陳錫強(qiáng)真實(shí)故事改編的微電影《老兵的約定》，在騰訊網(wǎng)、愛(ài)奇藝、優(yōu)酷土豆等各大視頻網(wǎng)站上映。5月底，它更將在戛納電影節(jié)亮相，將震撼人心的感動(dòng)傳遞給全球觀眾。

In April 2017, the micro film A Steady Promise presented by China Southern Airlines and directed by the winner of the Golden Horse Award for best new director Zhang Rongji, was shown on main video websites including Tencent, iQiyi, Youku, etc. At the end of May, it will be released at the Cannes Film Festival, narrating the touching promise kept for 70 years by a Chinese veteran to the audience all over the world.

The film is based on true story, containing strong positive influence and deep emotional appeal to the society , which accords closely with the brand concept of China Southern.

At the beginning of the story, in the quiet cabin, the 99-year-old man, who looks very ordinary in his simple clothes, has actually an experience worthy of our admiration. 70 years ago. In the Battle of Changde, the soldiers of his battery almost all died. He, who survived the war alone, buried his comrades with his own hands. Now, the veteran returns to Changde on a China Southern flight, regardless of time and trouble en route, he stands on the land where he shed his blood along with his comrades. Faced with the monument in honour of the killed soldiers of 74th army in Battle of Changde, he wants to carry out his promise to his comrades.

This micro film is based on the true story of veteran Chen Xiqiang, which was selected from all the stories related to China Southern. “The true story has huge emotional power and can bring people great positive influence. The story will take the audience back to the scene of Battle of Changde to feel the brutality of the war and to recall the persistence and perseverance over thousands of miles through space with this old soldier.”says Helen Liu,VP of Marketing,ChinaSouthern.

China Southern Airlines once collaborated with Zhang Rongji in 2014 to present its own first micro film Dream, Starting from the Heart, describing a story about a Uygur Kids' football dream. The film aroused a great repercussion so that many people are still moved and inspired by the film today. This year, China Southern once again presents a touching story about a 99-year-old veteran's persistence for the audience with the winner of Golden Horse Award for best new director Zhang Rongji.

The micro film A steady Promise tells the care and love like that of a family among soldiers and the perseverance of a veteran with special perspectives, touching everyone's heart profoundly. At the same time, the film also restores the scenes of the war and presents shocking visual effects, making the audience feel the fierceness of war and the blood sacrificed by the heroes fighting against the war.
