“大英博物館百物展:濃縮的世界史”最近在上海博物館啟幕。展覽按照時(shí)間線(xiàn)索,從人類(lèi)文明鴻蒙初開(kāi),直到我們創(chuàng)造的當(dāng)今世界,來(lái)自大英博物館的100件難得一見(jiàn)的藏品,講述了人類(lèi)如何改造世界、世界又是如何塑造人類(lèi)的漫長(zhǎng)歷程,濃縮了一部悠久而豐富的別樣“世界簡(jiǎn)史”。這100件珍貴文物來(lái)自世界各地,小到硬幣,大到紀(jì)念性雕塑,有的距今200多萬(wàn)年,有的就在我們身邊。它們穿越時(shí)空齊聚上海,正與今人進(jìn)行著一場(chǎng)別具一格的歷史對(duì)話(huà)。
展覽分為開(kāi)端、最初的城市、貿(mào)易與侵略、適應(yīng)與創(chuàng)新、邂逅與聯(lián)結(jié)、我們制造的世界等9個(gè)部分,作為大英博物館世界巡展的第9站,此次展覽免費(fèi)向公眾開(kāi)放,將持續(xù)至10月8日。

“A History of the World in 100 Objects from the British Museum” has rolled into Shanghai. The exhibition started on June 29 and will last 102 days until October 8. Shanghai is the 9th stop of its world tour. Before Shanghai, it was mounted at the National Museum of China. Admission is free.
The exhibition has brought together 100 exemplary exhibits from the British Museums remarkable collection of 8 million objects. The 100 exhibits combine to be a very convincing and alternative representation of the history of humans from the dawn of civilization to the modern world we are living in. Arranged in a chronological order and following the trajectory of human civilization, the exhibits reflect the immensity and profundity of the human history.
