浙大版《新編大學(xué)英語綜合教程3》第4單元“Career Planning”，主要分析如何對未來職業(yè)進(jìn)行合理規(guī)劃。文本內(nèi)容較為抽象，教師在講解前可增加趣味性內(nèi)容，讓學(xué)生翻譯幽默短對話、列出感興趣的職業(yè)并排序、分組討論影響職業(yè)滿意度的因素等，以達(dá)到良好的師生互動、生生互動的教學(xué)效果。

一、翻譯幽默求職短對話

(一)面試方(M)：你談女朋友了嗎？

求職方(Q)：是的。

M：她在本市嗎？

Q：不，她在別的城市。

M：很抱歉，我們不能聘用你。

Q：為什么？

M：你不會在此安心工作的。而且，本公司也不希望因為你而使長途電話費大幅度增加。[1]

Interviewer： Do you have a girlfriend ?

Applicant：Yes.

I：Is she in this city ?

A：No，she is in another city.

I：We’re greatly sorry that we will not employ you.

A：Why not ?

I：You would not be setting your mind on your work.What’s more，we do not want to see our telephone bill increase enormously because of you.

(二)M：你談男朋友了嗎?

Q：沒有。

M：你工作后準(zhǔn)備談男朋友嗎？

Q：我首先要專心致志地工作，目前不考慮個人婚姻問題。

M：非常抱歉，本公司不能錄用你。

Q：為什么？

M：你公關(guān)能力欠佳，況且缺乏自信。[1]

I：Do you have a boyfriend?

A：No.

I：Do you want to date boys after you have got a job ?

A：First I will concentrate my mind on work.Now I will not consider my marriage.

I：We’re very sorry that we will not hire you.

A：Why not ?

I：You lack the ability of dealing with interpersonal relationships.In addition，you lack confidence in yourself.
