不可數(shù)名詞也能“數(shù)”

小兔菲菲有一身美麗的白毛，白得像雪一樣。她的一對長耳朵，動起來是那么靈活；她的一張三瓣嘴，笑起來是那么甜蜜。森林里的小動物都愿意和她做好朋友，快樂和煩惱都會和她一起分享。

看，一只小鳥正在朝這邊飛來。她給菲菲帶來了一個好消息！

小鳥：菲菲，山羊伯伯的Snack Bar開張啦！他那兒的面包看起來真不錯！Lets go and buy a bread ，OK？

菲菲：錯啦錯啦，你這個小粗心！bread（面包），是不可數(shù)名詞，不可以用“a bread”表示“一個面包”，要表示面包數(shù)量的話，只能是a loaf of bread（一條面包）；a piece of bread（一片面包）。

小鳥：數(shù)量要是超過“一”了，那該怎么表達呢？

菲菲：bread是不可數(shù)名詞，當然是不能加復數(shù)形式的。要表達具體的數(shù)量，只能把復數(shù)加在piece或loaf上面。比如：

two loaves of bread 兩條面包

three loaves of bread 三條面包

four pieces of bread 四片面包

five pieces of bread 五片面包

除此之外，我們也可以這樣表達：

some bread 一些面包

a lot of bread/ much bread 許多面包

小鳥：這些詞組，如果出現(xiàn)在There be句型中的話，be 動詞應該是不一樣的吧？

菲菲：那當然！我來分別舉個例子吧，這樣更清楚一些。

1. Theres some bread on the table.

桌上有一些面包。

2. Theres much bread over there.

那兒有許多面包。

3. Theres a lot of bread at the snack bar.

小吃店里有許多面包。

4. There are two pieces of bread on the plate.

盤子里有兩片面包。

5. There are three loaves of bread in the basket.

籃子里有三條面包。

菲菲和小鳥高高興興地向山羊伯伯的Snack Bar走去。

小鳥和菲菲來到了山羊伯伯的Snack Bar，這里的商品琳瑯滿目，看得眼花繚亂。小鳥快活地飛來飛去，嘰嘰喳喳說個不停。

小鳥：bread（面包）不可數(shù)，還有哪些名詞也是不可數(shù)的呢？

菲菲：讓我們一起來找找看吧！

chocolate（巧克力）；

sugar（糖）；tea（茶）；

cheese（奶酪）；

coffee（咖啡）；

juice（果汁）；

milk（牛奶）；

water（水）……

小鳥：這些不可數(shù)名詞，都可以用some，a lot of/much來修飾嗎？

菲菲：你說對啦！不可數(shù)名詞，一般都可以用some（一些），a lot of/much（許多）來修飾。但在疑問句和否定句中，表達“一些”一般是用any的哦！如：

1. I have some nice cheese. 我有一些很好的奶酪。

2. There isnt any chocolate on the table. 桌上沒有巧克力。

3. We shouldnt eat too much sugar. 我們不能吃太多的糖。

4. Is there any milk in the fridge？ 冰箱里有些牛奶嗎？

小鳥：那么，除了剛才提到的a piece of和a loaf of，還有哪些表示數(shù)量的短語，可以用在不可數(shù)名詞前，表示數(shù)量呢？

菲菲：a bar of （一塊）；a tin of （一罐）；a bottle of （一瓶）；

a box of （一盒）；a bag of （一包）；a pound of （一磅）；

half a pound of （半磅） ……

比如：

a bag of sugar 一包糖 a piece of cheese 一塊奶酪

a bar of chocolate 一塊巧克力 a pound of sugar 一磅糖

a tin of coffee 一罐咖啡 a glass of milk 一杯牛奶

a cup of tea 一杯茶 a bottle of water 一瓶水

小鳥：這下我全明白了。菲菲，你真聰明！

山羊伯伯捋了捋胡子，會心地笑了：“不可數(shù)名詞，是指不能以數(shù)目來計算，不可以分成個體的人或東西。它一般沒有復數(shù)形式，只有單數(shù)形式，它的前面不能用不定冠詞a/an，若要表示它的個體意義時，一般要與一個名詞短語連用，相當于中文里的‘數(shù)詞+量詞+名詞，其中的量詞根據(jù)具體的名詞不同，而發(fā)生相應的變化！其復數(shù)形式也只能體現(xiàn)在量詞上?！?/p>

生活中的不可數(shù)名詞，其實還有很多。比如：

a piece of paper 一張紙

a piece of news 一則新聞

a piece of meat 一塊肉

a bowl of rice 一碗米飯

a bottle of ink 一瓶墨水

a bottle of jam 一瓶果醬

a tin of cola 一罐可樂

a pound of honey 一磅蜂蜜

soap（肥皂）和soup（湯），也都是不可數(shù)名詞，看起來很相似，但是意思卻相差甚遠哦！

a bar of soap 一塊肥皂

a bowl of soup 一碗湯

除此之外，不可數(shù)名詞還有：rain（雨水），snow（雪），oil（石油），coal（煤炭），energy（能源），homework（家庭作業(yè)），housework（家務）等。如：

1. In spring，theres a lot of rain here.

這里的春天，雨水很多。

2. There is not enough energy and oil on the Earth.

地球上沒有足夠的能源和石油。

3. I have too much homework to do.

我有許多家庭作業(yè)要做。

還有一些特殊的詞，既可以是可數(shù)名詞，又可以是不可數(shù)名詞。要根據(jù)不同的情境加以區(qū)別。如：

1. fish 魚的種類（可數(shù)）；魚肉（不可數(shù)）

2. chicken 小雞（可數(shù)）；雞肉（不可數(shù)）

3. time 次數(shù)（可數(shù)）；時間（不可數(shù)）

4. exercise 練習（可數(shù)）；鍛煉（不可數(shù)）

5. ice cream作為“一個冰激凌”或“一份冰激凌”，是可數(shù)的。如：I want a strawberry ice cream.我要一個草莓冰激凌。如果將它視為“冰激凌”這種物質(zhì)，則是不可數(shù)的。如：

Ice cream is my favourite sweet.

冰激凌是我最愛的甜食。

Both young and old like ice cream.

不論老少都喜歡吃冰激凌。

菲菲：不可數(shù)名詞的學問還真多，真可謂是學無止境啊！

小鳥：嗯，的確有很多內(nèi)容。我一定好好整理，牢牢記住這些知識！
