Do you know Thomas & Friends（托馬斯和他的朋友們）？ It is a British TV show for children. Thomas and his friends are little engines（火車頭）. They live on the island of Sodor（多多島）. Every day，they try to be useful（有用的） engines.

故事作者

In 1917 in England，a young boy was awake（醒著的） in his bed. He listened to the sounds of trains. “Wow，the trains are talking，” the boy thought（想）. The boy was Wilbert Awdry. He started to write stories about Thomas and his friends in 1943.
