Zhang Jieyu was born in 1948， and now is Dean of Populus Euphratica Art Institute， research fellow of the Central Museum of History and Literature， a member of Chinese Artists Association， member of China International Painting and Calligraphy Research Association， adjunct professor of Peking University， official student of Lingnan Master Li Xiongcai， the creator of the painting， Psalm of Populus Euphratica displayed at the Golden Hall， Great Hall of the People. Zhang is good at ink landscape painting， and has a deep sense of social responsibility and universal love. His solo exhibitions have been held in China and many other countries such as the U.S.， UK， France， Russia， Australia， Japan and South Korea. The albums of his paintings have also been published by several publishing houses.

張介宇，1948年出生，現(xiàn)為胡楊藝術(shù)研究院院長，中央文史研究館書畫院研究員，中國美術(shù)家協(xié)會會員，文化部中國國際書畫藝術(shù)研究會理事，北京大學(xué)兼職教授，嶺南大師黎雄才入室弟子，人民大會堂金色大廳《胡楊禮贊》創(chuàng)作者。

擅長水墨山水畫，畫風(fēng)雄闊幽遠(yuǎn)、壯麗凝重，在山水畫領(lǐng)域獨(dú)樹一幟，是一位具有深厚社會責(zé)任感和博愛情懷的畫家。他把山水畫當(dāng)作歷史、史詩來畫，作品多為表現(xiàn)時代主旋律、弘揚(yáng)中華民族不屈不饒、奮斗不息精神的題材。只知潛心作畫，默默地為國家主要部門：中南海、毛主席紀(jì)念堂、人民大會堂、中央軍委、武警總部、西北民航、海關(guān)等創(chuàng)作多幅巨作被懸掛收藏。

先后在北京中國美術(shù)館、革命軍事博物館、廣州、西安、蘭州、煙臺、天津、哈爾濱以及美國、英國、法國、俄羅斯、澳大利亞、日本、韓國等地舉辦個展和參選聯(lián)展。

出版有《張介宇中國畫集》（陜西人民出版社）、《當(dāng)代中國畫名家張介宇精選》（天津人民美術(shù)出版社）、《胡楊禮贊》（人民美術(shù)出版社）、《張介宇畫選》（人民美術(shù)出版社）等。
