在青春片泛濫的年代里，不少觀眾或許對校園戀愛這種套路都有些膩味，然而馮小剛的新片《芳華》讓人眼前一亮，因為它講述的是我們父母一輩的青春……

Here comes another one—Youthby director Feng Xiaogang,which was recently released.But this one is a bit different.It②is dedicated tothe youth of our parents’generation.

Set in the 1970s,the story begins in a military arts troupe歌唱團,in which the soldiers’duties are to sing,dance and promote culture.He Xiaoping is a newcomer and a talented dancer.With a painful childhood,she wants to③make a fresh startin the troupe,yet her family’s background makes her the④laughing stockamong the other girls.The only person who’s nice to her is Liu Feng,a kind and selfless man.

In most youth films,the characters’life paths are only influenced by their⑤individualchoices.However,the young people inYouthare also a part of“the whirlwind of historical change”,as film critic Justin Chang wrote in theLos Angeles Times.In a time span of more than 30 years,they have to experiencethe Cultural Revolution(1966～1976)andthe Sino-Vietnamese⑥conflict(1978～1979),during which Liu Feng loses an arm and He Xiaoping⑦suffers froma mental illness.The disbandment解散of the troupe also⑧tearsthemaway fromthe life and people they⑨aresofamiliar with,⑩throwingthemintoa new life they know nothing about.

They all have to learn to“?make peace withthe past and?make the most ofthe present”,wrote reporter Giovanna Fulvi on the websiteTiff.net.

But there’s still something that never changes about youth.No matter what time of history it is,people share the same longing for love and beauty.Sunshine,laughter and swimming pools—these typical images of youth are all well kept by Feng in his new film.

?According toiFeng News,Youthis actually a nostalgic懷舊的and personal work that Feng dedicates to his own experiences of working in a troupe.

“When I?look backin time,everything else in my life seems to be black and white,”he said. “The days in the troupe are the only part of my memory that always remains colorful.”

在大多數(shù)青春片中，角色的人生道路往往只受到個人選擇的影響。然而，正如影評人Justin Chang在《洛杉磯時報》上所寫的那樣，《芳華》中的年輕人也處在“歷史變遷的旋風(fēng)”中。在30多年的時間中，他們經(jīng)歷了“文化大革命”(1966～1976)以及對越自衛(wèi)反擊戰(zhàn)(1978～1979)，在這期間，劉峰失去了一條胳膊，而何小萍飽受精神疾病的折磨。文工團的解散也令他們不得不離開自己熟悉的生活和人，投入到一無所知的新生活中去。

據(jù)鳳凰新聞報道，《芳華》實際上是一部懷舊的個人作品，馮小剛將此片獻給了自己在文工團工作的經(jīng)歷。
