There was once a crow. Like all crows, he had smooth black feathers and a sharp, black beak. He was not a beautiful bird. Still, he was very smart.

從前有一只烏鴉。像所有的烏鴉一樣，他有著光滑的黑色羽毛和一張鋒利的黑色鳥喙。他不是一只漂亮的鳥，但是他很聰明。

One day, when he was flying, he became very thirsty. He was far away from any water. In a clearing he saw a glass bottle.

一天，他在飛的時(shí)候感到很渴。他距離水源太遠(yuǎn)了。他看到一塊空地上有個(gè)玻璃瓶。

He flew down to have a look and saw some water in the bottle. He tried to drink it but he couldn?t reach the water at the bottom.

他飛下來看到瓶中有一些水。他試著去喝水，可是他的鳥喙夠不著瓶底的水。

He thought and thought.Maybe he could gather small rocks to fill the bottle,but then the water would be dirty. He thought and thought some more. Then he saw a huge rock nearby. He had an idea.

他想了想，也許他能收集小石頭填滿瓶子，但那樣水就會(huì)變臟了。他又想了想。這時(shí)他看到附近有一塊大石頭，于是心里有主意了。

“Bang,bang,bang! ”The strong crow broke the neck of the bottle with that huge rock. So,he easily drank the water at the bottom! What a clever crow!

“砰，砰，砰！”強(qiáng)壯的烏鴉用大石頭敲破了瓶子的瓶頸。這下，他輕輕松松地喝到了瓶底的水！多聰明的烏鴉?。?/p>
