      1 Discussion for Pipeline Integrity Management in Oil and Gas Fields

      In view of the characteristics and unique challenges of pipelines in oil and gas fields, China Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) has pioneered in carrying out pipeline integrity management.This paper expounded "five-step" work flow of pipeline integrity management, including data acquisition, high-consequence areas identification and risk assessment, detection and analysis, maintenance, and effectiveness evaluation.Based on classification and classification management, the pipeline integrity management focused on risk management by mean of regional management and daily maintenance management.In the future, it is necessary to continuously explore and improve the theory and technology of oil and gas pipeline integrity management in order to enhance the intrinsic safety of oil and gas pipelines.

      7 Microwave Non-destructive Testing for Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic Pipes

      At present, Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic Pipes (GRP) are widely used in oil and gas gathering, water supply, water injection, etc.However, lack of effective non-destructive testing (NDT) methods might result in GRP failure and cause potential safety hazards in production run.Microwave nondestructive testing (MNDT)is an advanced method of inspection for finding out defects in GRP manufacturing and installation.The paper introduced the principle and characters of MNDT, and case application.

      11 Inference Method based on Data Analysis for Effusion of Coalbed Methane Pipeline in Mountainous Area

      Fluid accumulation in pipelines was the main factor affecting the efficiency of coal seam gas transportation.In mountainous areas, coalbed methane pipeline fluid accumulation was affected by fluid medium, pipeline elevation, delivery pressure,flow velocity and other factors.The factors caused fluid accumulation were complex for Qinnan coalbed methane pipeline in Shanxi.This paper described the research on setting an analytical model for pipeline effusion based on multi-source heterogeneous data and also discussed data mining and analytics for comprehensive gas transmission efficiency, temperature drop calculation along the pipeline, pipeline topography analysis, pigging data checking and liquid accumulation calculation.The fluid retention points were identified and steam traps were installed according to the research results.The inference method was approved by comparison of results from before and after application.

      20 Back Towing Technique from Original Hole of Emergency Repair Construction for Directional Drilling Pipeline

      It is a conventional practice of emergency repair to renovate broken points or lay new pipe instead of broken pipe for directional drilled oil and gas pipelines.However, there are some restrictions and risks in directional drilling cross.This paper introduced an innovative repair method of back towing technique from original hole.It described the key points in repair process by using a suitable tamping hammer thrashing in a constant frequency, pulling broken pipe with the pulley group, grouting new pipe and dragging or installation, setting a large diameter dragging head for friction free to avoid breakage of anti-corrosion coating.The method helped saving investment and shortening construction duration.The successful implementation applied in YongShaoJinQu products pipelines provided a reliable experience in damage pipe emergency repairing for directional drilling oil and gas pipelines.

      24 Application of Digitalization Transfer Technology in Harbin-Shenyang Gas Pipeline Project

      Digitalization transfer is the important work in pipeline full life cycle management, and is an innovation of transfer method and management mode.During the construction of Harbin-Shenyang Gas Pipeline Project, China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Corporation creatively proposed a new idea of digitalization transfer.Based on this project, the overall architecture, database design, engineering structure design and feature design of digitalization transfer system have been researched.Meanwhile, the experience of digitalization transfer helped batter facilitate services for pipeline design, construction, operation and maintenance.Digitalization transfer established the base of pipeline full life cycle management.

      29 Application of Energy Optimization Software in Oil and Gas Gathering and Transportation System

      With the oilfield development and the expansion of infrastructure, it is hard to control energy consumption in oil and gas gathering and transportation system.Based on this situation, the energy optimization software which provided technical support and practical tools was developed to help oilfield plant technicians to control operating parameters of oil gathering system and realize the process and fine management.This paper introduced energy optimization software function and how to establish oil gathering model, enhance calculation accuracy, optimize operating parameters.It analyzed the software function and effects applied in water-mixed oil gathering process projects.

      36 Framework Design for Technical and Economic Index System of Oil and Gas Fields

      To scientifically reflect the technical merit, managerial level, and investment performance in oil and gas process development, it is necessary to design a framework for technical and economic index system of oil and gas fields.The framework has been set up based on different types of oil and gas fields.The main existing technical and economic indexes for surface facilities were updated to meet new requirements.Hereby, the new technical and economic index system framework was established.

      39 Thinking on Building a Construction Cost Engineering System for Overseas Investment Projects of CNPC

      Since the implementation of “going global” strategy, after more than 20 years of rapid development, CNPC has almost completed the worldwide strategic blueprint of oil and gas, with nearly 100 cooperative projects in more than 30 countries and regions.At the basis of analysis of CNPC overseas investment and status on construction cost engineering system in overseas strategic zones of cooperation, the existing cost control problems were discussed.In this paper, it was suggested to build a CNPC construction cost engineering system, and analyze the feasibility and strategies for cost control management.

      46 Improvement of Electronic General Layout Drawings Management in Hailaer Oilfield

      General layout is the basis for planning, design and management and plays an important role in oilfield engineering construction.With the exploration and development of new capacity in Hailaer Oilfield, the scale of ground engineering was continuously expanding, and the existing projects needed to be adjusted and rebuilt accordingly.Due to the wide range of electronic drawing information sources, the electronic master plan of the ground engineering of Hailaer Oilfield had problems such as inconsistent drawing methods and regulations, inconsistency between illustration and actual.Through the analysis and practical research, this paper summarized the advanced drawing technology, scientific and standardized methods to unify drawings and solve exist problems.Therefore, electronic master drawings with accurate data inputs were reliable, and the scientific, normative, efficient and practicality of electronic master drawings were improved.
