Dr.Ying-Wei Yangis currently a Professor in the College of Chemistry at Jilin University,China.He received his degrees(BSc in 2000,PhD in 2005)from Nankai University,China,under the supervision of Prof.Yu Liu.He then gained postdoctoral training with Prof.John C Chaput at Arizona State University(2005-2006),Prof.Sir Fraser Stoddart at University of California,Los Angeles(2006-2008),and Professor Zhibin Guan at University of California,Irvine(2008-2010).He started his independent academic career in the College of Chemistry at Jilin University as an associate professor in 2011 and was promoted to full professor in the same department in 2014.Research in the Yang's group is highly interdisciplinary which combines chemistry,materials science,nanoscience and biology,but centers in the field of organic supramolecular chemistry and functional materials,with emphasis on biocompatible nanocarriers and supramolecular assemblies based on various solid supports including mesoporous silica,porous organic materials,metal-organic frameworks,metal/metal oxide nanoparticles,polymeric architectures,and related multi-hybrid materials for therapeutic applications and environmental sustainability.He has published over 150 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and 5 book chapters,and is amongst the World's Most Highly Cited Researchers(Chemistry)for 2017 by Clarivate Analytics,and the Chinese Most Cited Researchers(Chemical Engineering)for 2017 and 2018 by Elsevier.He was also recognized as a Polymer Chemistry Pioneering Investigator(2019)and a ChemComm Emerging Investigator(2015)by Royal Society of Chemistry.He serves on the Editorial Advisory Boards or Editorial Boards of several journals including Matter,Chinese Chemical Letters,Scientific Reports,Journal of Chongqing University of Technology(Natural Science),and Journal of Molecular Science.He was invited by European Commission to serve as a European Research Council(ERC)Advanced Grant panel member for Physical Sciences and Engineering 5:Synthetic Chemistry and Materials,and has been an invited referee/evaluator for several research grants by various governmental and non-governmental funding agencies including the Israel Science Foundation,Chilean National Science and Technology Commission,The Research Foundation - Flanders(Belgium),British Lung Foundation(BLF - United Kingdom),ERC,National Natural Science Foundation of China,and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.

Dr.Xiang Mareceived his B.S.degree in Chemical Engineering and Technology from Tianjing University(Tianjing,China)in 2003.He received his PhD degree in Applied Chemistry from East China University of Science & Technology(Shanghai,China)in 2008 under the direction of Prof.He Tian(member of the Chinese Academy of Science)at the Institute of Fine Chemicals at ECUST.Dr.Ma worked as a Research Associate on hybrid gold nanomaterials at Liquid Crystal Institute at Kent State University(Ohio,US)from Jan.2011 to Jul.2012 and as a Visiting Professor at UC Berkeley from Jan.2017 to Mar.2017.He became a full professor at ECUST in 2016.His current research interests mainly focus on functional supramolecular machines,switches,stimuli-responsive supramolecular polymers and organic photo-electro(fluorescence and room-temperature phosphorescence)material based on dyes.Dr.Ma has published more than 80 papers in such international journals as Acc.Chem.Res.,Chem.Soc.Rev.,J.Am.Chem.Soc.,Angew.Chem.Int.Ed.,Chem,Sci.,Adv.Funct.Mater.,Adv.Opt.Mater.and so forth with citation over 3000 and an H-index over 30.Nine of them were selected as “ESI highly cited papers”.Dr.Ma won the Excellent Youth Funding of NSFC in 2017 and ‘Shanghai Young Science and Technology Talents” in 2018 and so forth.Now he serves as Board Member of Supramolecular Chemistry Committee of Chinese Chemical Society.He also serves as Executive Editor of Dyes and Pigments and Editor Board Member of Chinese Chemical Letters and Dyestuffs and Coloration,etc.
