To celebrate the centennial birthday of Mr. Wu Guanzhong， the last Chinese artist master of the 20th century， a variety of events have been held in China， such as the Collections Exhibition themed on “A Kite with an Unbroken String”inaugurated at Beijing Poly Art Museum in March， and the Works Exhibition to commemorate Wu Guanzhong at National Art Museum of China in April， displaying the masters works， theories， experience and thoughts to help people have a better and deeper understanding of the renowned Chinese artist.

3月16日，“風(fēng)箏不斷線——吳冠中百年誕辰收藏大展”在北京保利藝術(shù)博物館開幕，這是此次巡回展覽的第三站。此前，這批作品已先后亮相于三亞、香港兩站。

4月25日，“中國美術(shù)館‘典藏活化系列展：風(fēng)箏不斷線——紀念吳冠中誕辰一百周年作品展”在中國美術(shù)館開展，展覽由中國美術(shù)館和清華大學(xué)共同主辦。
