Riding bikes is lots of fun. You can feel the wind and enjoy the speed（速度）. But do you know about a bike like this？ It is the oldest kind of bike， the high wheel bike（高輪自行車）. A Frenchman invented（發(fā)明） it in 1869.
Every year， there is a race（比賽） of them in the Czech Republic（捷克共和國）. The race is in a big park. Hundreds of people join it. It’s not easy to get on it or make a turn（轉(zhuǎn)彎）. It can also be very dangerous（危險(xiǎn)的）. This is because it’s about 1.5 meters tall and people sometimes fall off.
