There are many animals in the forest，little rabbit，monkey，Weenie，tiger，mother kangaroo and baby kangaroo. They live together happily. Today is a really special day in the forest. It’s I Love You Day！Have you ever known I Love You Day？ Let’s watch and see.

Tiger：Hey！ Look what I have！ Today is a really special day in the forest.

Rabbit：Yes！ It’s I Love You Day！

Monkey：Look，I made all these cards for you，my dear friends.

Weenie：So do I. I want to tell you how much I love you.

Monkey：Hi，Roo，I have one for you，too.

Roo：Thanks. But I haven’t done anything on I Love You Day for my mum.

Monkey：Well，you can make a card for her now，Roo.

Roo：But I’d like to give my mum something more special this year. I want to give her the best present ever.

Weenie：That sounds great！

Roo：What can the present be，my friends？

Weenie：Maybe we can watch your mom for a while to get some ideas.

Now，mother kangaroo is cooking in her kitchen. Lovely animals are watching outside the house.

Mother Kangaroo：Nice！ It tastes sweet！

Rabbit：That’s it. Mother kangaroo likes things that are sweet.

Tiger：You are brilliant！

Weenie：I have an idea. Honey！ Honey would be a lovely present. I have a very special pot of honey at home. I’m glad to give you.

Roo：Wow！ Thanks a million.

After a while，Weenie comes back with a pot in his hand. They are so excited and can’t wait to knock the door.

Mother Kangaroo：Coming！

Roo：（Says to herself）Today is I Love You Day，mom. I’d like to give you a whole pot of ... It’s empty. Why is this happening？ I can’t give my mum an empty pot. （Roo returns to the brushwood with her friends）

Mother Kangaroo：（Open the door）Huh，that’s strange.

Roo：Weenie，I thought there was honey in that pot！

Weenie：I ... I’m very sorry，Roo.

Roo：Oh，that’s okay. But now I have to choose something else as a gift.

Roo and her lovely friends sit together on the grass. Guess，what great idea do they have now？

Tiger：Mother kangaroo likes bright colors.

Roo：And she likes something that smells good.

Suddenly，the weather becomes windy and cloudy.

Monkey：Catch it?。ˋll of them ran after the card）

Together：Oh no！（Roo fell down and the card fell into the river.）

Roo：Oh，my biggest，best card！It’s wet now. I Love You Day is almost over and I still don’t have a present for my mom！

Roo is crying，and the other animals are standing around her. Suddenly，tiger hits upon a good idea.

Tiger：Hmm！I know！It’s something that can’t be eaten or sneezed away，or blown away. It’s a gift that only you can give her and it’s really special.

Roo：What is it？ What is it？ What？ What？ What is it？

Tiger：A great，big hug.

Roo：Perfect！I’m going to give it to my mom right now.

Roo is looking forward to give her mum a big and warm hug as the present. Now，Roo is standing outside the door.

Mother Kangaroo：（Open the door）Roo？ What are you doing，dear？

Roo：Mom，it’s I Love You Day. There’s only one thing I can give you and I hope you like it.

Roo gives her mom a big bear hug. They embrace（擁抱） each other for a long time.

Mother Kangaroo：Oh，ha ha！ That is the best present ever. I love it and I love you，too. And you know，the best present is something that can be shared. My dear child，hug is always the best gift that we can give to each other.
