Lego has announced plans to more than double its current number of stores in China this year to 140 across 30 different cities. Over the past two years in China, Lego Group has opened two flagship stores and is set to open its third in Beijing in March, as well as in the midst of planning a second Legoland theme park.
While the films based on the Lego toys havent captured Chinese hearts, the Danish toymaker has continued to release special China-related sets, including the first to ever celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year.
