你聽過十二生肖的傳說嗎？很久很久以前，玉皇大帝決定在人間選拔十二種動物作為“十二生肖”。這一天，很多動物都急急忙忙趕來報名參賽，一場聲勢浩大的動物生肖爭奪賽就此拉開帷幕。一起來欣賞江蘇省蘇州市高新區(qū)實驗小學同學們的精彩表演吧！

ACT ?1

Narrator： Long long ago， people always forgot in which?year they born. The Jade Emperor（玉皇大帝）came up with an?idea.

Jade Emperor： Its too difficult to remember a year.?Why dont we choose twelve animals to represent the year？ I will?hold a race and the first twelve animals would be chosen to be the?Chinese zodiac.

Narrator： All the animals were very excited and everyone?was talking about the race. At that time， the cat and the rat were?very good friends.

ACT ?2

Rat： We cant swim. How can we cross the river？

Cat： Let the ox help us. He can carry us cross the?river.

Rat： Good idea！ Lets go！

Cat & Rat： We cant swim. Can you help us， big?brother ox？

Ox： Of course. I can swim.

Narrator： The next morning， the rat got up early?before the rooster woke up.

Ox： Lets go！ Come on， friends. We will be the first.?Jump on my head.

Rat： OK！ Hurry up！

Cat： （yawns） I am tired. I want to sleep. Please?wake me up ...

Rat： No problem！

ACT ?3

Narrator： However， the rat didnt wake up the cat.?He went into one of the oxs ears alone.

Rat： Go！ Go！ Go！ Big brother ox， we are almost there.?We can make it.

Narrator： The ox climbed up the shore and ran to?the finishing line. But the rat rushed to the finishing line?and won the first place.

Rat： I am the first one！ I am the winner！

Ox： You are so cunning（狡猾的）. I dont want to?make friends with you！

Narrator： So the ox became the second！ Then came?the tiger.

Tiger： Im the first， right？

Jade Emperor： No， you are the third.

Tiger： Oh， no！ Why am I not the first one？ Look at?me！ Im so strong.

ACT ?4

Narrator： A whirlwind（旋風）came as the?dragon arrived.

Dragon： I can fly. I must be the first one.

Narrator： But a rabbit sprinted（沖刺）ahead of the?dragon.

Rabbit： Haha！ Im the fourth. I cant swim but I can?jump. I am faster than you， Mr Dragon.

Horse： I am coming！ Im not the first one. But I am the?sixth.

Snake： Aha， I am the sixth. I can move swiftly（敏捷地）.

Narrator： Working together， the goat， the monkey and?the rooster rowed on a log. As a result， they are eighth， ninth，?and tenth. Then， the dog came.

Dog： Oh， no. Just now， I played in the water for so long.?So I am late for the race. I am the eleventh.

Narrator： At last， the pig got there.

Pig： Is there any food to eat？ I am hungry and thirsty. Im?too tired to run.（looks around）Oh， Im so lucky. Im the last?one！ I am the twelfth！

ACT ?5

Narrator： The race was over. The top 12（前12名）?animals were the winners. Soon， the cat arrived dripping?wet（濕淋淋地）.

Cat： Im coming.

Jade Emperor： You are the thirteenth.

Cat： You bad rat！ I wont spare you！

Narrator： The cat slapped the rats face and?knocked out all of his teeth except the two in front. From?then on， when the rat sees the cats shadow， he runs like?crazy.
