一位老太太味覺不好，前來找醫(yī)生診治，但是沒有按照醫(yī)生的叮囑吃藥。復(fù)診時(shí)，老太太埋怨藥太苦、治療效果不好。于是醫(yī)生說，“看來你的味覺治好了，現(xiàn)在需要治療你的聽覺?！?/p>

An old woman came into her doctor’s office and told him her trouble.

“Doctor Johnson， I don’t feel like eating now， that’s because nothing has a taste for me. It’s been like this for long. In fact， since I caught a cold last month， I haven’t had a delicious meal. What can I do？”

“Here are some medicine， Mrs. Harris. Take three pills three times a day for three days and come back and see me in a week. But remember， eat the pills before three meals.”

“Calm down， Mrs. Harris，” said the doctor soothingly. “Now that we’ve fixed your sense of taste， we’ll work on your hearing！”
