獅子王

君主與父親的雙重身份讓木法沙（Mufasa）不僅要教會辛巴（Simba）學會生存（to survive），更要教會他一個國王（king）所要具備的勇敢與責任。在兒子面前，他既是嚴師又是慈父，用自己的行動為辛巴樹立榜樣。木法沙深深地愛著兒子辛巴，不惜用自己的生命來挽救（to save）身處險境的兒子。雖然木法沙沒能陪伴在辛巴身邊看著他成長，但是他所教給辛巴的知識與道理卻足以讓辛巴受益終生。

（Mufasa thinks silently for a few moments， not looking at his son. Then， finally， he turns to him.）

Mufasa： Simba， Im very disappointed （失望的） in you.

Simba： （Very quietly and sadly） I know.

Mufasa： （Continuing） You could have been killed. You deliberately（存心，故意） disobeyed me. And whats worse， you put Nala in danger！

Simba：（Bordering on crying， voice cracks） I was just trying to be brave like you.

Mufasa： Im only brave when I have to be. Simba… being brave doesnt mean you go looking for trouble.

Simba： But youre not scared of anything.

Mufasa： I was today.

Simba： （Disbelieving） You were？

Mufasa： Yes… （bends down close to Simba） I thought I might lose you.

Simba： Oh. （Lightening slightly） I guess even kings get scared （害怕的）， huh？

Mufasa： Mm-hmm.

Simba：（Whispering conspiratorially） But you know what？

Mufasa： （Whispering back） What？

Simba： I think those hyenas（鬣狗） were even scareder.

Mufasa： （Gently laugh） Because nobody can messes with your dad. Come here， you.

Finding Nemo 海底總動員

Nemo： Uh， my dad says its not safe.

Marlin： Nemo， no！

Nemo： Dad？

Marlin： You were about to swim into open water！

Nemo： No， I wasnt out … but dad！

Marlin： It was a good thing I was here. If I hadnt showed up， I dont know… Pearl： Sir， he wasnt gonna go.

Tad： Yeah， he was too afraid.

Nemo： No， I wasnt.

Marlin： This does not concern you， kids. And youre lucky I dont tell your parents you were out there. You know you cant swim well.

Nemo： I can swim fine， dad， okay？

Marlin： No， its not okay. You shouldnt be anywhere near here.

Okay， I was right.

Youll start schoolin a year or two.

Nemo： No， dad！

Just because youre scared of the ocean…

Marlin： Clearly， youre not ready.

And youre not coming back until you are. You think you can do these things but you just cant， Nemo！

Nemo： I hate you.

Brave Heart 勇敢的心

William： Im going with you.

Malcolm： Oh， youre going with me， are you？ And what are you going to do？

William： Im gonna help.

Malcolm： Hey， and a good help youd be， too. But I need you to stay here and look after the place for me while Im away.

William： I can fight！

Malcolm： I know. I know you can fight. But its out wits that make us men. See you tomorrow.
