Dear Mr Smith,
I'm writing to make some suggestions for your English writing lessons. As you may know, grammatical mistakes frequently occur in my articles, preventing my ideas from being conveyed precisely and accurately. And what's worse, due to my lack of grammatical knowledge, errors easily hide themselves, which slows down my pace of progress. Therefore, I would be extremely grateful if you could shift the focus to grammar so that errors can ultimately drift away from me.
Besides, another challenge I'm confronted with is how to get my ideas well organized. Because of this, my ar ticle loses its appeal to readers. So,could you please also offer some guidance in terms of article construction?Heartfelt thanks!
Yours,
Li Hua

Dear Henry,
Pleased to know your passion for learning Chinese, I'm writing to recommend Xinhua Dictionary to you. As a native speaker, I believe it is a helpful tool, especially for the beginners.
Firstly, it's one of the most widely used dictionaries in China, not only for its wide range of vocabulary but also for its precise explanation of each word. Besides, its reasonable price is undoubtedly an appealing factor.
I hope my suggestion will be helpful and wish you great progress in learning Chinese.
Yours,
Li Hua
Paragraph 1:
Two days passed before Mr Fleagle returned the graded papers, and he returned everyone's but mine. Mr Fleagle would surely give it a failing grade. I was preparing myself for an order from Mr Fleagle to stay after school for punishment when I saw him lift my essay and knock for the class's attention. To my astonishment, he started to read my words! He read in high spirits, and it seemed that all my classmates were very interested in my article. The entire class laughed with open-hearted enjoyment.
Paragraph 2:
I did my best to avoid showing pleasure, but what I was feeling was pure delight at this demonstration. My words had the power to make people laugh. When Mr Fleagle finished, he made my happiness suitable by saying, “Congratulations, Mrs Baker, you are a good writer.” I was moved by him. This experience will be the most meaningful one in my life and I will keep it in my mind forever.
