Ⅳ.主題寫(xiě)作
Recently, a heated discussion was held about whether we can order takeout food at school in our class English Corner.Opinions are divided when it comes to the question. Some people are in favour of it be?cause it saves them much trouble, allowing them to have delicious food delivered di?rectly to them. However, others don't think it right to do so. They point out that takeout food is usually delivered in plastic contain?ers. Countless plastic bags and boxes will cause white pollution. What's more, there can be health risks involved in takeout food.
Personally, I will say no to takeout food, which must be banned from entering the school, so that we can have a good envi?ronment.

Paragraph 1:
Rejection idea two: Getting Olympic doughnuts from a doughnut maker. The doughnut maker was confused and said no.I didn't run but asked him why. He pa?tiently explained that he had never made doughnuts that looked like Olympic sym?bols before. Not giving up,I continued to ne?gotiate with him whether he could interlink five doughnuts together. Surprisingly, he agreed to have a try. He started thinking about the colors, the rings and how to make it. Thirty minutes later, he came out with a box of Olympic doughnuts.
Paragraph 2:
I couldn't believe I made it. I meant there was no way that he could say yes to such a requirement, which was quite inap?propriate. However, I was so touched that he took my opinion seriously after communi?cation and did make some Olympic dough?nuts for me. In fact, what I really wanted from rejection therapy was not Olympic doughnuts but a wish to change myself. I found that I shouldn't let rejection define me.Even though I get rejected in life, there will be more possibilities and I could win myself a bigger chance to succeed.

Good morning, everyone. It's my honor to be here and give a speech on saving food.
At present, many students waste a lot of food, which will pose a major threat to China's food security. In order to let every?one develop a good habit of cherishing food, here are some suggestions. First of all, start with yourself and take action every day.Sec?ondly, call on more students to cherish food. Finally, call on different social organiza?tions or groups to strengthen publicity ac?tivities on food conservation through differ?ent forms so that ordinary people can con?tribute to food conservation together.
In short, I hope that everyone can get together and jointly save food.
That's all.Thank you for listening.

Finally, the day arrived when Albertforgot about his beloved computer. He pre?ferred living with his turtles, learning about them and watching the way they communi?cated. He went out into the countryside to see how they lived there. He felt happy that they were part of his world.Paragraph 2:
Then one day, just as quickly as they had arrived, the turtles disappeared. His par?ents worried that he would return to his com?puter games, but that didn't happen. Albert didn't cry. Nor did he waste a second look?ing for the turtles in his computer. Instead,he emptied his savings out of his piggy bank and rushed straight down to the pet shop. He returned with a turtle and some other animals he wanted to look after and learn about. And even today, Albert is still learning and discovering new things about animals and nature. Now he also uses the computer to do that. However, any time someone asks him about it, he points at his pets and says,“They are definitely my door?way to the world.”
