Lions live in groups. There is usually only one adult male lion（雄獅） in a pride of lions（獅群）.

Sometimes， there are two or three males in some big prides. However， the strongest male lion still has more status（地位） and voice（話語權(quán)）than the others. In the pride， male lions and female lions have different roles. Female lions are responsible for（負(fù)責(zé)）hunting（捕獵） and raising the cubs（幼崽）， while male lions are responsible for ensuring the safety（安全）of the territory（領(lǐng)地）.

The Busy Insect—Ants

Sometimes， millions of ants live in one nest. There are generally five types（種類） of ants： queen ants（蟻后）， female ants， male ants， worker ants（工蟻） and soldier ants（兵蟻）. Queen ants， female ants and male ants are responsible for breeding（繁育）. Worker ants are mainly responsible for looking for food， while soldier ants are responsible for protecting（保護(hù)）the nest.

Although ants are tiny insects， they are really strong. The leaf pieces（葉子碎片） these ants carry can weigh（重）as much as 30 times the weight（重量）of the ant！

The Smiling Angel—Dolphins

Dolphins live in the sea and like eating fish. They also like to live in groups. If one of the dolphins is attacked（被攻擊）， the others will get together and fight off（擊退） the enemies. Besides that， when one is sick（生病）， the others will take care of him. When one gives birth（產(chǎn)崽）， the others will take turns caring for the baby dolphin until it has mastered（掌握）all the survival skills（生存技能）.
