It在英語中雖然是一個極為普通的單詞，但是它用法靈活，在很多固定句型中都有它的身影。對此，筆者就含有it的固定句型進行了盤點，以期對同學(xué)們的學(xué)習(xí)有所裨益。

一、It is+形容詞+for/of sb. to do sth.

這個固定句型的意思是“對某人來說，做某事是……”

若句子中的形容詞表現(xiàn)的是事物的特征，如easy，important，difficult等時，則用介詞“for”；反之，若形容詞表現(xiàn)的是人的性格、品質(zhì)等特征，如kind，nice wise，friendly等時，則用介詞“of”。例如：

It is helpful for us to read classic books.

對我們來說，閱讀經(jīng)典書籍是很有幫助。

It is wise of him to leave the village.

對他來說，離開鄉(xiāng)下是明智的。

It is very kind of Jane to lend me her bike.

簡真是太好了，把自行車借給了我。

二、It takes/took sb. some time to do sth .

這個固定句型的意思是“做某事花費某人多長時間”。例如：

It takes us two hours to get to the airport.

我們到機場要花兩個小時。

It takes me about half an hour to walk there and back.

我步行往返大約要花費半個小時。

It took them six months to build the road.

他們花了六個月修建這條路。

三、Its time for sth./to do sth.

這個固定句型的意思是“是該做某事的時候了”。例如：

Spring has come，its time to plant trees.

春天到了，是該種樹了。

Its time for bed/to go to bed.

是該睡覺的時候了。

It is snowing heavily！ Its time to make a snowman.

下大雪了！是該堆雪人的時候了。

四、Itseemstosb.that...

這個固定句型的意思是“在某人看來，……”例如：

It seems to me that you should kick the bad habit！.

在我看來，你應(yīng)該改掉這個壞習(xí)慣。

It seems to him that this question is a little difficult.

在他看來，這道題有一點兒難。

It seems to us that she is a easy-going girl.

在我們看來，她是一個很好相處的女孩。

五、It is a good idea/ choice to do sth.

這個固定句型的意思是“做某事是一個不錯的主意/選擇”。例如：

It is a good idea to go to the museum.

參觀博物館是個好主意。

It is a good idea to take exercises when you are upset.

當(dāng)你沮喪時，做運動是個不錯的主意。

It is a good choice to travel by train if you dont like the rush trip.

如果你不喜歡匆匆忙忙的旅行，坐火車旅行真是個不錯的選擇。

六、It goes without saying that...

這個固定句型的意思是“不用說，不言而喻，毫無疑問”。例如：

It goes without saying that money cannot buy anything.

不用說，金錢買不到一切東西。

It goes without saying that plants cannot grow without sunlight.

沒有陽光，植物就不能生長，這是不言而喻的。

It goes without saying that education is an important part of our development.

毫無疑問，教育是我們成長中至關(guān)重要的一部分。

七、It pays to do sth.

這個固定句型的意思是“做某事是值得/有好處的”。例如：

It pays to help others.

幫助別人是值得的。

It pays to be honest with people.

誠實待人是值得的。

It pays to study English hard.

努力學(xué)習(xí)英語是有好處的。

八、It is known /said/ believed/ supposed/ considered that...

這個固定句型的意思是“眾所周知/據(jù)說/相信/據(jù)推測/認(rèn)為”。例如：

It is known that China is a great country with a long history.

眾所周知，中國是一個歷史悠久的偉大國家。

It is said that she has studied abroad.

據(jù)說，她已經(jīng)出國留學(xué)了。

It is believed that knowledge is power.

人們相信知識就是力量。

It is considered that Physics is a difficult subject.

人們認(rèn)為物理是一門難學(xué)的學(xué)科。

It is supposed that a new school will be built here.

據(jù)推測，這兒將會修建一所新學(xué)校。

總之，“it”一詞看似毫不起眼，但在平時的英語學(xué)習(xí)中，同學(xué)們不可忽略它的重要性，要注意加強積累，做到小詞大用。
