(一)
A man walks into a bar and sees his friend sitting alone. He was staring at atiny man on the table playing the piano.
“Wow, look how small he is. Where did you get him?”says the man.
“Oh, well theres this genie1 round the back of the bar, and he grants2 youwhatever wish you want.”
Sure enough, the man goes round the back of the bar and there sits a genie.
“You grant wishes,right?”
“Yes,”says the genie.
“Hmm, Id like a million bucks3.”
Then, out of nowhere, a million ducks appear and waddle4 behind the annoyed5 man as he goes back into the bar.
“Look, that genie gave me ducks instead of bucks! ”
His friend sitting at the table says, “Well yeah, do you really think I askedfor a 0.3-meter pianist?”
一個男人走進一家酒吧,看到他的朋友獨自坐著,盯著桌旁一個正在彈鋼琴的小個子男人。
“哇,看他有多矮小。你從哪里把他弄來的?”男人說。
“哦,酒吧后面有一個精靈,你想要什么,他就給你什么。”
果然,那個男人繞去酒吧的后面,那里坐著一個精靈。
“你可以實現(xiàn)愿望,是嗎?”
“對。”精靈說。
“嗯,我想要一百萬美元。”
然后,不知從哪里冒出了一百萬只鴨子,當(dāng)他走回酒吧里面時,它們搖搖擺擺地跟在這個怒氣沖沖的男人身后。
“瞧,那個精靈給了我鴨子而不是美元!”
他那個坐在桌子旁的朋友說:“嗯,是啊,你真的以為我要的是一個0.3 米高的鋼琴家嗎?”
(二)
A woman and her little girl were visiting the grave6 of the little girlsgrandmother. On their way through the cemetery7 back to the car, the little girlasked,“Mommy, do they ever bury8 two people in the same grave?”
“Of course not, dear,”said the mother.“Why would you think that?”
“The tombstone9 back there said, ‘Here lies a lawyer and an honestman.

“那邊有塊墓碑上寫著:‘這里躺著一個律師和一個誠實的人?!?/p>

Teacher: What do you get if you mix a rabbit and a snake?
Student: A jump rope!
教師:如果你把一只兔子和一條蛇融合在一起,你會得到什么東西呢?

Dad: Did you hear the story about the giraffe?
Mike: Forget it. Its too long.
