（一）

A boy tells his friend， “The food was terrible at summer camp this year. Myfirst day there， I threw mine in the lake. I got a big surprise when the fish didntthrow it back.”

Two kids are talking.

Bill： You should have been with me this summer at camp. We had a lot ofhard times with skunks1.

Tina： How do they smell？

Bill： They smell like our P.E. class！ But I never changed clothes once thissummer at camp and you know what？ To the end of the season， the skunks ranaway from me.”

Mary： Oh， she just told him not to go faster than sound because she and Iwanted to talk a lot.

Two kids were walking home from school.

“What should we do tonight？”Eric asked.“

Lets flip a coin5，”said Jenny.“If it comes up head， we will go to the movies.If it comes up tail6， well play ping-pong. If it stands on edge7， well study.”

Jonas： Well， he thought hed get much smashed10 potatoes.
