誰(shuí)值得幫助呢？

“Whoputthisstoneinthecenteroftheroad？”saidtheoldman，buthedidnottrytore-movethestone.Instead，withsomedifficultyhepassedaroundthestoneandcontinuedonhisway.Anothermancamealonganddidthesamething;thenanothercame，andanother.Allofthemcomplainedaboutthestoneinthecen-teroftheroad，butnotoneofthemtriedtore-moveit.Lateintheafternoon，ayoungmancamealong.Hesawthestoneandsaid，“Thenightwillbeverydark.Someneighborwillcomealonglaterinthedarkandwillfallagainstthestone.”

Theyoungmanthenbegantomovethestone.Hepushedandpulledwithallhisstrengthtomoveittooneside.Butimaginehissurprisewhenunderthestonehefoundabagfullofmoneyandthismessage：“Thismoneyisforthethoughtfulpersonwhoremovesthisstonefromtheroad.Thatpersondeserveshelp.”

Thestorytellsusthatthepeoplewhocon-sidersforotherstrulyshouldobtainothershelp.

在多年以前，居住著一個(gè)非常富有的人，他想為城鎮(zhèn)里的人們做些事，但他首先想知道他們是否值得幫助。因此他在入城的主要道路中心放了一塊非常大的石頭，然后藏在一棵樹(shù)后等待著。很快一個(gè)老人帶著一頭母牛走過(guò)來(lái)了。

“誰(shuí)在路中央放了這塊石頭呀？”老人說(shuō)，但他并沒(méi)有嘗試去移走那塊石頭。反而，他比較艱難地才跨過(guò)石頭，繼續(xù)他的路程。另一個(gè)人走過(guò)來(lái)了，并且做了同樣的事；又一個(gè)人來(lái)了，每個(gè)都如此。他們?nèi)慷急г故^擋在路的中心，但他們當(dāng)中沒(méi)有一個(gè)想去移走它。下午過(guò)后，一個(gè)年輕人走過(guò)來(lái)了。他看見(jiàn)了石頭說(shuō)：“晚上會(huì)很黑的，某些鄰居將會(huì)在天黑路過(guò)，就會(huì)被石頭絆倒?！?/p>

年輕人于是開(kāi)始移走石頭。他推了又拉，用盡他所有的力氣去把石頭推到一邊。但你可以想象，當(dāng)他在石頭的下面發(fā)現(xiàn)一個(gè)裝滿金錢(qián)的袋子和這樣的信息：“這些錢(qián)是給那個(gè)從路中搬走石頭的體貼的人，那個(gè)人是值得幫助的”。他是何等驚訝。

這個(gè)故事告訴我們，真正為他人著想的人理應(yīng)得到別人的幫助。
