The unexpected success of “Black Myth： Wukong，” developed by a private Chinese company over six years， has allowed players to appreciate traditional Chinese culture in concert with the fun and joy of playing the game.

The video game， inspired by the Chinese classical novel Journey to the West， surpassed the popularity of other much-hyped single-player titles like “Cyberpunk 2077” and “Elden Ring，” according to data tracker SteamDB.

An exhibition of Quyang stone carvings is now underway at the National Museum of China in Beijing. This exhibition is divided into two sections：“The Lustrous Millennia” and “The Modern Legacy.” The former section features quintessential stone carvings from the Han （202 B.C.-220 A.D.） to the Yuan Dynasty （1271-1368）.
