【情景】介紹認識。

【典例】

①This is Jennifer. 她叫詹尼弗。

②This is Anthony. 他叫安東尼。

【解析】①這是英語中介紹雙方認識的地道表達方式，不能按漢語習(xí)慣說成“He”或“She”。但譯成漢語時可以把this譯成“他”或“她”。②在書面語中This is不能縮寫在一起。③同時介紹兩個或兩個以上的人給另一個人時，要用these are。

【解析】①用于向某人詢問一件事或提出請求而打擾某人時。意思是“對不起”，“請問”。②其同義句Sorry或者Im sorry 表示“對不起”或“抱歉”，用于對自己的過錯，失誤，不能做某事或者不能提供對方的請求時。
