編者按：今年六、七月以來(lái)，我國(guó)江南、華南和西南東部發(fā)生了大范圍持續(xù)性強(qiáng)降雨，很多地方遭受了嚴(yán)重的洪澇災(zāi)害。據(jù)水文部門分析，長(zhǎng)江中游干流可能出現(xiàn)接近或超過(guò)常年均值水位的洪水，上游有可能發(fā)生較大洪水。

Serious Floods

The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And its important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children cant go to school as usual. Now the floods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. In China, millions of soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many of them have lost their lives in their attempt to save the villagers.

Though we cant help them to fight against floods, we should help them to rebuild their homeland. We can present them our pocketmoney and clothes. I believe most of the people will return to their homeland in the near future.

嚴(yán)重的水災(zāi)

長(zhǎng)江是中國(guó)最長(zhǎng)的河流。它對(duì)我們中國(guó)人十分重要。但這些天長(zhǎng)江給我們帶來(lái)了嚴(yán)重的水災(zāi)。

許多村莊被洪水沖毀。洪水使成千上萬(wàn)的人失去了家園、親人和朋友。許多孩子不能像平常—樣去學(xué)校了?，F(xiàn)在洪水引起了全球的注意。國(guó)外友人也給予了援助。在中國(guó)，上百萬(wàn)的戰(zhàn)士忙于與洪水搏斗。他們努力工作，許多人在救村民時(shí)獻(xiàn)出了自己的生命。

盡管我們不能幫助他們抗洪，但我們可以幫他們重建家園。我們可以捐出零花錢和衣服。我相信在不久的將來(lái)大多數(shù)人會(huì)回到家鄉(xiāng)。
