汶川地震一周年

今天是四川汶川地震一周年紀念日（Today is the anniversary of the earthquake of Wenchuan. 無需加上first 和date二詞），全國各地舉行了各種各樣的紀念活動（hold various forms of activities to commemorate the event，“紀念活動”也可以說activities in memory of the event，但不能說memorial activities，因為memorial主要指“悼念的”，如memorial service“追悼儀式”。當然，紀念活動中包括memorial activities）。一年前中國人民在黨中央的領導下，萬眾一心，眾志成城,抗震救災（with one heart and one mind, and united as one man, manifesting great strength in combating the earthquake and doing relief work），許多可歌可泣的英雄事跡（moving heroic deeds）感人肺腑（touching peoples soul），人們記憶猶新（remain fresh in peoples mind）?？梢哉f汶川見證了中國精神（Wenchaun has witnessed the spirit of China.）。政府撥款、全國人民和世界各國的捐款（donation），還有幾十億特殊黨費（special Party membership fee）源源涌向災區(qū)。一年來，災后重建取得了了不起的成就（reconstruction after the calamity has achieved remarkable results）。重建中始終把關系民生的項目（projects concerning peoples livelihood）作為重點（key items），首要任務就是安置災民（arrange calamity-stricken people），恢復和重建基礎設施（restore and build infrastructure construction），尤其是交通和水電供應（transportation and supply of water and electricity）。如今，一座座嶄新的醫(yī)院和學校已經在受災地區(qū)拔地而起（are sprouting up）。重建工作中，對口援建（one-to-one assistance between cities or provinces）起了關鍵性作用(played a key role)。除了物質上的援助，精神上的支持和鼓勵更重要。許多專家給失去親人的家庭、尤其孩子們進行心理咨詢（give psychological consultation），全國人民紛紛參與獻愛心活動（activities to show their ardent care），人們踴躍給災區(qū)中小學生寄書和愛心包裹（loving care parcel）。▲
