provide

意為“供給；提供；準(zhǔn)備”，強(qiáng)調(diào)在別人需要時(shí)主動(dòng)地提供所需物品，或提供抽象的事物如機(jī)會(huì)、機(jī)遇、關(guān)愛等，可帶雙賓語。短語provide sb. with sth. 與provide sth. for sb.意思相同，均為“為某人提供某物”，兩者通常可相互轉(zhuǎn)換。
