The Plot

The Last Airbenderis adapted from a famous cartoonseries(劇集)Avatar,the Last Airbender.In order to avoid the conflict with James Cameron’s new film of this yearAvatar.At last,the film is namedThe Last Airbender.It tells a story about unreal eastern adventure fairy tales：air,fire,water and soil are the maingodforce(神力)ruling the world.Airbender is the only one of the four supernatural powers,so he has theability(能力)to save the world and stop the evilFire Nation(火烈國)fromconquering(征 服 )the world.However,what people don’t understand is that he strangely disappeares when people need him badly.A hundred years later,there survives a water tribe in the Antarctic.A brave soldier Katara and her brother Sokka save a mysterious 12-twelve-year-old boy named Aang from a huge ice cave.They discover ‘Aang’ is thereincarnation(轉(zhuǎn)世)of the missing-for-long Airbender.Airbender’s supernatural powers are waken up from his body.At last,he is setting on the way to save the mankind with his parteners...

劇情簡介

《最后的氣宗》改編自知名動畫劇集《降世神通：最后的氣宗》，為了避免和今年詹姆斯·卡梅隆的新片《異次元戰(zhàn)神》在名字上有沖突，這部電影最終被取名為《最后的氣宗》。影片講述的是一個虛構(gòu)的東方神話冒險故事：氣、火、水、土是主宰著整個世界的四大神力，而神通卻是唯一擁有這四大神力的人，因此他具備拯救世界的能力，并阻止邪惡的火烈國征服世界。然而令人不解的是，他在人們最需要他的時候，卻神秘失蹤了。百年之后，在南極還幸存著一個水族部落。水族勇士卡塔拉和她的哥哥索卡從一個巨型的冰山洞穴里救出一個名叫阿昂的12歲神秘男孩。他們發(fā)現(xiàn)原來“阿昂”就是失蹤已久的神通轉(zhuǎn)世。“神通”被喚醒其體內(nèi)的神力，最終與同伴一起踏上拯救人類的道路……
