1.the nation that only drink blood but don’t eat meat只喝血不吃肉的民族

There is a nation in western Africa whose people are living aprimitive (原始的)life.The people often cut livestock’svein (靜脈)and drink their blood instead of killing them.And when their woundsheal(愈合),people can take blood again.

非洲西部有一個(gè)民族的人至今仍過(guò)著原始生活。這個(gè)民族的人常將牲畜的靜脈割破，抽出一定的血液后飲用，而不是殺死牲畜，待其傷口愈合后還可以再次取血。

2.the blind nation盲族

In the primitive forest of Sierra Madre mountains,Mexico,there is a strange nation—a blind nation.There are more than 300 people in the tribe and they are all blind.They are notcongenital(先天的)blindness.They also have two bright eyes when they were born.But after three months,they will lose their sightsgradually(逐漸地).

墨西哥馬德雷山區(qū)的原始森林里，至今還隱居著一個(gè)奇怪的部落——“盲族”，部落里的300多人,全部都是瞎子。這些盲人并非先天失明，剛出生的時(shí)候也都有一雙明亮的眼睛，但過(guò)了3個(gè)月后就逐漸失明了。

On the Luzon Island and MalayPeninsula(半島)of the Philippines,there is a nation whose people have faces like dogs’.They are called “dog-face nation”.They are short in stature(身材)and they are less than 1.5 meters high.And the male and female are nearly naked(裸體的).

在菲律賓的呂宋島和馬來(lái)半島上，有一個(gè)臉型像狗的民族，稱為“狗面族”。他們的身材十分矮小，一般不超過(guò)1.5米，男女幾乎全裸著身體。

4.the most serious nation最嚴(yán)肅的民族

The Feida Nation in Sri Lanka is probably the most serious nation in the world.They never smile.People once used funny programs to make them laugh many times,but they were in vain.Why can’t they smile?Because they have no smile nerve.

斯里蘭卡的費(fèi)達(dá)族恐怕是世界上最“嚴(yán)肅”的民族了，他們從來(lái)不會(huì)笑，人們?cè)?jīng)多次想用令人捧腹的滑稽節(jié)目來(lái)使他們笑，結(jié)果也是白費(fèi)勁。費(fèi)達(dá)族人為什么不會(huì)笑呢?原來(lái)他們是天生沒(méi)有“笑的神經(jīng)”。

5.the nation that delights in crying以哭為樂(lè)的民族

There is a nation on a small island in England,whose people express their pleasure by crying.On happyoccasions (場(chǎng)合),they will gather together and cry loudly to express their happiness and joy.

居住在英國(guó)西海岸一個(gè)小島上的一個(gè)民族是以哭的方式來(lái)表達(dá)喜悅心情的。每逢婚嫁喜慶吉日，他們就會(huì)歡聚一堂，放聲大哭，以此表示高興和歡樂(lè)。
