The University of Engineering and Technology in Peru found a way to create water out of thin air.
“To build the first billboard that produces drinking water out of air. The billboard has a unique technology that captures the air humidity and turns it into drinking water.”
1)Atmospheric humidity is at 98% in Peru and the BBC reports “...internally, the panel consists of five devices that extract water vapour from the air using a condenser and filters. The internal system costs some US$1,200 to set up.”
NBC reports the billboard is a marketing campaign by Mayo DraftFCB to 2)amp up admission to UTECs engineering program.
UTEC devised the plan to show prospective students how to combine technology with helping the community. The panel is located in an area that is almost a desert, where some people have no access to clean water.

DraftFCB廣告公司利馬梅奧分部推出的一個市場宣傳活動,目的是幫助秘魯工程技術(shù)大學(xué)的工程學(xué)項目獲得更多的生源。
工程技術(shù)大學(xué)策劃這個方案是為了向潛在的學(xué)生展示如何運用科技來幫助社區(qū)。廣告牌所在的地區(qū)幾乎就是沙漠地帶,那里的人們要獲得干凈的水非常艱難。
“As water supplies dwindle amid climate change, growing populations and food insecurity issues, the billboard in Lima is one of a host of many innovative solutions that have been developed.”
The billboard has already produced more than 9,450 liters of drinking water in three months. The billboards clean water is also helping with health and sanitation concerns in the area.

在過去的三個月內(nèi),這個廣告牌已經(jīng)生產(chǎn)出9450升飲用水。廣告牌生產(chǎn)的干凈水也在很大程度上有助于解決該地區(qū)的健康和衛(wèi)生問題。

空氣“變”飲用水?浙商五年前已有類似產(chǎn)品
空氣制水機?聽說過,不新鮮了。事實上,五年前國內(nèi)就有類似的產(chǎn)品,但并未實現(xiàn)推廣。
“這個我們五年前就有了,還申請了國家發(fā)明專利,不過并沒有批量生產(chǎn)。”寧波沁園集團董事長葉建榮說,空氣制水機通過機內(nèi)特設(shè)的裝置抽取空氣,并利用壓縮機將空氣冷凝、集聚成水,再對集聚起來的水進行機內(nèi)凈化處理,從而生產(chǎn)出可直接飲用的水。不過,沁園集團的空氣制水機卻沒有得到推廣。一開始他們看中軍工市場,但由于成本過高并未成功,而普通家庭市場調(diào)研的結(jié)果是:沒市場?!耙欢人枰邏K錢成本,而且國內(nèi)空氣質(zhì)量不容樂觀,普通的凈水處理無法去除氣味?!?/p>
