1.There is a buffalo in the river. It lies in the water and would not come out.
河里有頭水牛,它臥在水里不愿意出來(lái)。
2.The three brothers work shoulder to shoulder and make a string. They want to lead the buffalo home.
弟兄三人齊心協(xié)力搓了根繩子,他們想把水牛牽回家。
3.The eldest brother has a loud voice and shouts at the buffalo. When the buffalo hears it, it comes out of the water and walks to the bank.
老大是個(gè)大嗓門,他朝著水牛大吼。水牛聽(tīng)到喊聲,浮出水面,走上岸來(lái)。
4.The elder brother is so smart that he ties the buffalos nose with the string.
老二聰明,用繩子巧妙地拴住了牛鼻子。
5.The youngest is strong enough to lead the buffalo.
老三力氣大,牽著水牛走。
6.When they get near home, they are afraid to lose out and speak out their opinions with one voice. “You two get the head and tail, and the rest is mine!”
快到家了,他們都怕吃虧,異口同聲地說(shuō)出了自己的意見(jiàn)。“你們倆分牛頭和牛尾,其余的歸我!”
7.They quarrel on and on , and grab the string of the buffalo.
他們吵成一團(tuán),搶著那條牽牛的繩子。
8.The string is broken and the buffalo runs away.
繩子斷了,水牛跑掉了。
